I have been doing art as a career for over ten years now. I'm pretty sure I started drawing since I was a tiny baby, with crayons and coloring pencils probably. I just really liked drawing things I wanted, from animals I have seen to the cartoons I watched. Learning to paint was a slow process, but I think I got a massive boost in digital art knowledge after going to a tutorial by a Hong Kong-based artist I like called Cuson. He did a live tutorial at a convention I went to, and I got to befriend him afterward too, it was great.
I like to start by first imagining what the finished art will look like, and keep guessing until it seems reasonable. I do a rough sketch, then linework over it, add shading, colors, and the last step I would zoom into the artwork and fix all the mistakes I have.
My inspiration comes from pop culture. I like drawing fan art, when its a game I love or a movie I enjoy, I want to bring it to life it and add my little touches to it to make it my own. This one time, I thought 'mm this would be interesting' when the idea of combining the two things I love - Disney and Pokemon - popped into my head. Thought I would have a little fun with the Disney characters and Pokemon evolution merged into one, and now I can't stop making these Disney drawings. Hope you all enjoy my work inventing the new Pokemon with my funny drawings!

"able to run up to 500 miles per hour in a matter of seconds" you mean accelerate?

Load More Replies...The line "Run up to 500 miles per hour in a matter of seconds" makes me laugh hahaha... Apparently Thunderbolt is capable of defying physics I guess? XD
I like that he looks a tad like The Great Owl from Rats of NIMH in his final form.
I'm not supposed to crush on Pooh Bear--but Skinny the Pooh is adorable!
Why are you not supposed to lol hes adorable! go for it! :p
Load More Replies...Absolutely, skinny looks like my crush in real life😊
Load More Replies...The bear he was inspired by is a girl. Winnie himself is a boy.
Load More Replies...Not that parents will mind since his speech is perpetually incomprehensible.
Load More Replies...fairy, psychic Dark in the Japanese edition is called evil and she doesn't seem evil or dark
Load More Replies...Wall-bb should be just steel cause he doesn't have the little hatch yet
the final form could be argued to be steel psychic instead of flying because the many parts to Evangelion aren't held in place
Aww no! Wall -E cant say EVE A,EVE A .. it makes him harder to say Evangelion
I gurss the thing is she has two arms, but becasue of the positioning of the one pointing fowards makes it difficult to say "oh thats an arm"
Load More Replies...Yes. It says that in the description.
Load More Replies...Stitch is like the Pikachu of this. Everyone wants Stitch, not many people have heard of Statch, and nobody wants to evolve him to Stutch.
Finally an explanation of why Pluto was different from Goofy Pluto wasn't evolved yet!
See, this is what Wall-Z and Evangel1on are supposed to be fighting!
Boaris? Like Boa-ris? Pronounced Bo-ris? HOW THE F*CK DOES A WOLF TURN INTO A PIG (This is a joke)
Dew ya wanter go an' sleep wit dem little fishies? No? Well gawrsh, I'm gonna hafter force ya to dew it then.
Mickfoley needs a flannelette shirt. But it made me laugh even more than the rest.
Mickey Mouse should also have different stones to evolve into different versions of himself. Old Stone: Steamboat Mickey, Moonstar Stone: Sorcery Mickey, Feather Stone: Fairytale Mickey, etc.
I've seen these on your DeviantArt page and think they are absolutely brilliant. Keep them coming! I can't wait to see who you do next.
Wow! I love the imagination and the dedication for all the pokemons! I can't wait to see more.
These are so adorable, especially coming from a HUGE Pokemon fan. I wish the names were a bit more creative though, but nonetheless, I had fun reading the article!
Yeah, the names really lacked something - they weren't "punny" like the usual Pokemon name.
