Cyclone Washes A Shark Onto The Streets Of Australia, And It’s Straight Out Of Sharknado

Now, don’t freak out, but it seems that a cyclone left a shark on the streets of Australia – and it looks just like a scene from Sharknado, a sci-fi movie in which sharks are washed onto the streets of town.

“Think it’s safe to go back in the water? Think again!,” wrote Queensland Fire and Emergency Services on its Facebook page on Thursday with a warning to followers: “You never know what lurks beneath the surface during a severe storm and what will wash up in the aftermath.”

Local reporter Philip Calder had to cover the storm’s damage, and that’s when he came across the shark. He said that a river near where the predator was found is “full of bull sharks”, so locals never swim there. According to the International Shark Attack File, a bull shark is one of the most dangerous species to humans and is known for a high number of attacks.

“Because they prefer to live in shallow waters such as river mouths, bays, and estuaries, they come in frequent (and dangerous) contact with humans,” the website states.

The shark is said to be the talk of the town with many locals coming to touch it. Well, hold on there, Aussies!

Just after I read an article about a 90cm shark swimming in a pool and going unnoticed for a while. Looks like a bathtub is the only place to swim these days

It's amazing how streamlined their fins are. Poor thing.

its just a shard if you think of it this way: a human is drowning and a shark sees the human.... i think you can guess the rest.

Is someone going to put the shark back into the water where he belongs?

All these comments abt people not saving the shark, it was already dead! Priority is human lives, as it is there are deaths from this event.

Nice that people care but let's not get carried away. It died of natural causes and they have a brain the size of a pea. Also their personalities approximate that of The Alien.

Grace, that's a strong opinion based purely on assumption. The shark was already dead when it was found, according to eyewitnesses.
