Baby Ostriches Comfort Baby Elephant As He’s Airlifted To Safety
A little elephant calf became separated from his mother and herd after falling down a well in a remote region of Kenya, but fortunately he wasn’t without care for long. Following reports of the stranded baby, rescuers from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust came to his aid, airlifting him to the safety of a rehab facility.
The calf was joined on the journey by two rescued baby ostriches, who seem to offer the orphaned elephant a bit of comfort after his difficult ordeal.
