So many negative people on here! Being a stylist is being an artist, and just because you dont agree on their choices of make-up or clothes or "bad lighting/Photoshop, blah blah blah" doesnt matter! Art is art and not everyone is gonna agree! Just look at how happy the people are after getting a new hair style or new clothes or fancy make-up, they are the ones who matter in all this. And personally the time and effort it takes to put on make-up and pick out new clothes and to do hair like this is crazy, and worth being recognized for.

Well, different countries vaccinate for different things - so the UK doesn't currently vaccinate against chicken pox presumably because the cost vs danger level analysis doesn't support it, but in the US I think you do - so there are going to be 'borderline'' illnesses which some countries vax for and others don't, which might make someone in one country ask if a particular vax is necessary if another (responsible) country doesn't. In the UK we vax for HPV at age 12 and I don't know if the US does that, so that could be another 'borderline' illness. But yes, measles, mumps, rubella, diptheria, polio, tetanus and I think some of the meningitises the UK vaxxes for. It's not compulsory though and we're having soem of the same problems with anti vaxxers.

I can’t be the only one but I’m genuinely confused by this narrative? Why risk your life (from the sounds of things the risk was huge in this case) just to have a kid who shares your DNA when you could, much less riskily have an equally amazing kid who, while not sharing your DNA, is in desperate need of a loving family? Plus, reading anecdotes from people who’ve adopted/had one blood and an adopted kid/ had genetic kids but not felt a ‘connection’ the ‘love quotient’ is basically the same. Is it because we worship pregnancy while convinently avoiding our overpopulation problem 🤔 or something else? I worked at one of the local hospitals in my area for a few years, and one of my favorite places(and my coworkers) was the doctor lounge(we would always get chased out by our managers) but they had huge leather couches and 55inch flat screens, full cable, bathrooms, computers, and a full kitchen with a buffet table; there was always free sandwiches, soups, tea, coffee, chips, salads, cookies....it was the best place to enjoy your break at 3am lol.
