Comics are not just a means to tell a story but also to express yourself. Some might even create cartoons instead of journaling and we are lucky if they decide to share them with a wider audience. It seems that this is the case with "Wyncomic" as well.
Behind "Wyncomic" is a talented artist that shares little bits of her everyday life. Be it boredom, daily struggles or insecurities, the artist masterfully turns all of that into colorful and fun comics that some of you might even find very relatable.

Behind these funny comics is Erica Cheah, a Malaysian artist who is currently in college studying business. She shared with Bored Panda that she was very inspired by local Malaysian comics ('Wen I Was a Kid', 'Ge Mei Liang') and newspaper comics to draw her own. "I got my first drawing tablet when I was 14 and started experimenting with different art styles and found that I loved drawing comics about silly stories I have."

We asked the artist to share the most challenging part of her creative process. She replied that for her, it is finding ideas for her comics. "Although I have many stories to share, I find it hard to tell them through 4-8 panel comics with humor the audience would enjoy." The part that she really enjoys is drawing because then she has her ideas thought out and that's "the most stressful part done"!

Definitely not painting penguins on my nails while I should probably be studying for a test... Nope.
People that inspire Erica to create comics, other than local artists, are some of the artists you see all the time: Hannah Hillam, Sarah Andersen, Safely Endangered and many more. "I always enjoy reading their comics and admire their style and humor."

"I never expected this many people to actually enjoy reading my comics. I've also received messages saying that my work inspired them to start drawing their own comics. I would've never expected that I could make it this far drawing silly little comics just for a light laugh."

No matter how hot or how cold it is outside I prefer only one specific setting for shower temperature. That temperature being scalding hot. I joke that I need a hot shower to scrub away the sins of the day lol. If I'm not bright red and slightly cooked by the time I'm done, it wasn't a good shower for me.

Right here! I put in my portion of milk and then add half a portion of cereal. When first half is done I add the other half. This ensures that cereal won't get soggy and also means that if I'm full after half, I don't feel the pressured to finish the rest.

I put milk in a cup and put a handful of cereal in at a time. Keeps cereal the perfect crunch level without the horrible soggy bits and the cup means no more chasing the last couple bites around the bowl
