Are you colorblind?
Most of us like to think we’ve got vision as sharp as an eagle’s. But honestly, how sure are we? This test is a simple way to check that. You’ll see 23 colored images with hidden numbers, letters, animals, and shapes.
Here’s the thing – not all of them are easy, and you’ll need to type in what you see instead of just picking an answer.
If you haven’t tried Part 2 of this quiz yet, you can test your eyes here, too.

Seriously? You wanted the word "hashtag" and not the hashtag itself? Also "coat hanger" was wrong?
Also, it's a 'Hash'. It's only a 'Hashtag' when used for the purpose of 'tagging' subjects/threads on online platforms.
Load More Replies...Also, one's pattern-recognition is not only dependent on seeing the colour separation. I could see them all fine but struggled to know what they were supposed to be in a couple of them, like the chair, which they had to outline in black in the 'answer' , the apple, couple of others.
Load More Replies...Don't know why the downvotes, I saw Thing from The Adams Family too!
Load More Replies...I kept thinking the "chair" was some animal with a thick neck. Hyena maybe?
I thought maybe a lion? But I put chair at first just because. And I was right, Lucky guess. But hashtag symbol, not the word? It asked for the symbol, not the word for the symbol. I call bs.
Load More Replies...I see that a number of people had issues with #6. My issue with it is that for people of my generation (I'm 61), that is a "Pound Sign." That was listed as wrong. Also, it's proper name is "Octothorpe", which was also marked as wrong.
To me the Apple looked rather like a pepper and then I typed the #. I had to really think, what this could be. I then thought pfund, but just decide to press the guess.
Couldn't make heads or tails out of the house even with the solution, but "hastag" was the dealbreaker.
Yeah, the house made me go "... wtaf." House my ass. As in, my ass probably looks more like a house than that house.
Load More Replies...stupid moron writer! at least four answers in the quiz are wrong/dumb/incorrect
So, I actually ***am*** red-green colour deficient, and as a result I got a 14 and the exhortation to "test my eyes again" with another site. It would have been far more informative to have something like, "someone with blue-yellow deficiency will see x" (or "won't see y") to know why some of these were actual tests. It's not whether the "guess" is right or wrong, it's what the Ishihara colour plates show.
The title is incorrect. A test for color blindness has nothing to do with 20/20 vision.
If you score something in the range of 14, you are in fact the common type of color blind, deuteranormal.
I always get so hopeful doing these quizzes and they're just b******t.
Couldn't remember the name hashtag and the chair i got completely wrong. Enjoyed the quiz but I put clothes hanger first and got it wrong the first time. Then tried hanger and it was right. I only use mine for hanging clothes.
Last one looks like Thing from the Addams Family. But that's a wrong answer I guess.
