For many people, until they meet a real, honest, kind person, can't imagine not being a burden. My own parents were highly abussive, but I never knew it until as a teenager I realized that what they expected from me was wrong, and as an adult I eventually cut off all relationships with them. New lady in town, probably 350lb+ walked around dressed like a toddler who went to Disney Hot Topic, with giant holes in her pants, tutus and tank tops five sizes too small and colorful hair, and 2 teeth in her head. When she passed me she gave me a huge grin and I had no way to process what I was seeing.

I dont think I ever wanted kids, after helping raise my three sisters. My body said no, and I agreed, but it wasn't until I was 40 with three abortions that they even suggested an ablasion to take care of my serious period issues. Now I never have to worry about it with an IUD and only 10 years to menopause.

When people dont work for mega corporations, they start to build their own businesses. We aren't taught to build new ones, but that is how jobs historically worked. You learned a skill and then figured out how to do it yourself, better or faster then they did. I did, and realized how possible it was to MAKE MY OWN JOB (after repeated failures).

My local high school gave all the drama class money to the sports teams when they had one bad drama teacher quit. The next year the program was scrapped, and the old drama teacher came back to host an after school drama/debate club just to keep something active.

I work 73 hours a week on my 5 year old business, I used to work more hours but reduced them this year, and took a whole 5 days off. My husband has done the same. Every contractor we have is on "work when you want" non-schedule, so they can live their lives. We have a dream, they have a life! All jobs should be work driven, and when done you go home, so there's no milking a clock.

My retired marine friend is living homeless, while unable to hold a normal job due to a severe fluid buildup on his head the military says is not their issue (depite knowing he was exposed to near lethal radio waves by order/duty), works driving for my courier service, while receiving his "pension". We pay out of our own pockets to ensure he gets hourly when he is capable of working.

I dont know how other states work but in Alaska ita illegal to use tips to cover minimum wage. In fact Alaska minimum has always been higher than federal, and they have no state tax YET. The politicians are trying their best and have been stealing from our residents for a decade to no repercussions (not a euphemism they actually refuse to change the laws but take the money anyway and shrug).

My hometown changes tax amounts 2 times a year, so they can make tourists pay more tax in the summer. Which means Walmart has to change prices through the whole store 2 times a year. That is gouging and everyone hates when the stickers are wrong, I should know I vended for them for 10 years.

My dad did the same thing when I was a kid, went to ER and everything. I almost got scared once as an adult too, when I forgot my dinner the night before, but as a female after a few seconds I could tell it was not blood. (Ironcally he died of urinary tract cancer in his late 70's so it did eventually happen)

Catheters are the devices that release the pee into a bag or container, this is medically nonsense. I say its BS. I have family and friends on catheters for urination, defecation, blood draining, and more, and if there's a leak when removed it was done very wrong.

It only seems weird to talk to an unconscious person because you know that the person is supposed to respond and they can't. If you think of it like talking to a baby/pet, that's non-verbal but still knows what you are saying, it gets really easy.

So yeah, use it on your scalp IF you need to wash excess oils out or you have any scalp issues. Don't use it if you don't have these issues or it can dry the skin out and cause rashes and dryness that can reduce hair growth. It's technically a medicine and most humans dont even know that it has to be used correctly.
