Hydaway: A Collapsible, Reusable Water Bottle That Fits In Your Pocket
90, 000 plastic bottles are thrown away every minute, but you can be part of the solution by using a reusable container. This is what motivated Niki Singlaub to create the Hydaway collapsible bottle. This container can store up to 600 ml (21oz) in its food-grade silicone, but collapses to just over 3.2 cm (1.25in) in height when not in use.
Singlaub’s Hydaway will appeal to travelers as well. While on a business trip, Singlaub realized the convenience of being able to finish your bottle before going through security, collapse it, and put it in your pocket.
Hydaway began as an idea in June of 2012, and after its development, the Kickstarter was launched in April, 2015.

Load More Replies...it would be more sensible if they would also open spots where you can fill in, otherwise you still have to buy plastic bottles...
I think this is an awesome idea. I've added it to my traveler's On My Radar list for May. http://www.cameraandcarryon.com/radar-may-2015/ The design is cool and I like that it's a durable silicone, plus bpa free.
It's not very big, you'd have to keep finding places to fill it. Not practical for hiking or other outdoor activities!
I would like to see a bigger size, because I could finish this one in one swig, but it's a great idea.
Wish there was a way to avoid plastic bottles that are immediately thrown away - when you go abroad and cannot drink the tap water.
When going abroad somewhere, where you cannot drink from the tap, I wish there was a way to avoid the plastic bottles that are thrown away
Not a new concept... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U89JNH4/ref=crt_ewc_title_gw_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A34X5NQE0XV0UO
