Hydaway: A Collapsible, Reusable Water Bottle That Fits In Your Pocket
164Kviews
90, 000 plastic bottles are thrown away every minute, but you can be part of the solution by using a reusable container. This is what motivated Niki Singlaub to create the Hydaway collapsible bottle. This container can store up to 600 ml (21oz) in its food-grade silicone, but collapses to just over 3.2 cm (1.25in) in height when not in use.
Singlaub’s Hydaway will appeal to travelers as well. While on a business trip, Singlaub realized the convenience of being able to finish your bottle before going through security, collapse it, and put it in your pocket.
Hydaway began as an idea in June of 2012, and after its development, the Kickstarter was launched in April, 2015.

Such a great idea. May have to invest in one of these for my hikes.
How do you wash the inside of it?
I think the bottom comes off like a lid, so you have access to the inside that way.
it would be more sensible if they would also open spots where you can fill in, otherwise you still have to buy plastic bottles...
What is wrong with a tap?
it depends on the country you live in, there are plenty where you can't drink tap water..
If you can't use your tap water then you're probably better off buying a Sawyer Mini or the Sawyer Squeeze instead of this anyway.
