These 3rd Graders Have Some Questions For God And It’s Hilarious

Yeah, I'm not buying it. These aren't typical 3rd grade sentences. Even well read third graders.

I totally agree. They all seems to be written by the same person, just with different types of handwriting. Some of the sentences are adult-sayings. It's totally fake

It might be they collected these and typed them up, then later someone re-typed them in handwriting fonts.

I think they're from the 1950s or 60s. Look at the names. Nobody names their children Nan or Susan or Johnny any more.

They could have been dictated by the kids and written by the teacher.

There are from a book called "Children's Letters To God (I bet you're surprised by that!!). I had it as a child in the 70's. I read it so many times I still remember these letters. s-l1600-5d...83c754.jpg

At the very least, they don't seem to be currently popular names (not all but some). Not a single one with extra random vowels, or spelled backwards.

I've read many of these before, some years ago. I think they were probably real originally but have been re-presented here.

Pretty good guess. They are from a book published in the 70's. It would have been nice if proper credit had of been given to the source.

Again, what's with all the downvotes? If you guys would like, I have many points on why to believe in Christianity. However, lots of people don't, and I'll respect that. It's just that I don't understand why the pushing of atheism onto Christians is now seen as a good thing, when separation by religion is never good. Could someone enlighten me? I think this is a pretty important topic, and I would love to see other points on it!

Isabella, sorry, I think that you're missing my point. This comment by Reuben is pushing atheism onto Christians, and that's what a new arising issue is. Pushing any religious belief onto another is wrong. The type of pushing beliefs that you're talking about aren't true to what is said in the Bible. First of all, the Bible says to not 'provoke your children and/or discourage them.' (Colossians 3:21). Depending on the translation, it can say different things, but still ultimately means the same thing. If you have any other questions about the religion, I'm glad to help! There's a lot of misconceptions these days.

I don't see any issue with people believing what they want to believe. Isn't pushing atheism on Christians the same level of unjust as the issue of pushing Christianity on atheists?

Because atheism is the truth. Teaching kids this made up rubbish is just wrong. The USA has a problem when it comes to religion, most of Europe is Atheist.
