Being a fulltime working mom doesn't leave me much time to draw, but I do my best to draw while I am on the bus or train. It just really helps me to channel all of the crazy pregnancy, new mom and baby moments into these cartoons.
You might ask yourself why I don't only draw the blonde character since that one resembles me. Well, I created those two fictional girls (Debi and Bebi) based on my friend and me. She is Pakistani and I am German.
I continue to always draw both because I want my daughter, who is half Pakistani, to grow up and see cartoons and characters that reflect her as well. Most of my stuff goes to my facebook page.

Not if you learn the baby that there can be noises when they sleep :) I did this with my son, and to this day, (he is 7 now) he can sleep from any noises or even music :)
Load More Replies...mother-in-law was always loud af when my girls were sleeping or trying to sleep; has not changed in 18+ yrs
Once I intented to tell my neighbour that she forgot to close the window on her car, made her extremely mad instead, because her son just fell asleep. I felt sorry and angry at the same time :)
LOL. I remember when my kid was born she was very quiet for the first couple of weeks. And I was concerned as hell - babies are supposed to cry non-stop, aren't they? So I talked to my doctor to find out what was wrong with my kid and she just laughed and said "Enjoy it while it lasts!"
Lol the cat is like I hate you slave I don't like this
Load More Replies...Sleep deprivation is real... Yesterday, I came home from the grocery store and as I got out of the car, I noticed my grocery bag sitting right on top of it! I had put it there while strapping baby in his car seat in the store's parking lot and, obviously, forgot it there. I rode all the way home with last night's dinner car surfing. :)
Lucky it didn't splatter across the rode going home.
Load More Replies...This is part of the reason why I don't want kids. The idea seems nice, but I have a fear of not getting enough sleep.
This is my cat. Lots of toys, she prefers trash from the trashcan
My aunt was adopted, and her first Christmas, she was SPOILED with so many presents. My entire family wanted her first Christmas to be perfect. She opened her first ginormous present... and spent the next week playing with the box that the present was in, the rest of the presents unopened.
My cat Freddie's Favorite toy was actually a dirty tissue at one point. I also look exactly like the mom.
The best things my niece can get is either the pack of tissues I have in my camerabag or the crocheted coasters which she puts on her head and then demand that everyone will wear
My house looks like a toy store and my 11 months been carrying around my empty pumping bottle for nearly a week?! Lol
So true! Im not sure if its better or worse when they hit an age to know better and while im shrieking "oouch! We don't bite our friends nipples!" Hes looking up at me with a s**t eating grin like "pretty sure we do" its probably worse...but its cuter
I think everybody feels the right but everybody else sees her as the left one.

What i meant to say is "Nope, not ok, thanks for asking. Want to go get a spot of tea?" I dont know what happened but only the word nope got typed...

Will it? Why? Is it hormones? Is the baby making the breasts tender because of the sucking?
I'm nearly 18 and my dad still can't get over the fact that I'm not a hugger.
Load More Replies...Yes, this. But also when you actually ARE happy, you can still cry "because they're so painfully cuuuuuute TT_TT".
Load More Replies...That should be part of sexual education. The earlier you realise that baby blues exists and that getting help is alright and that you are not a bad mother for needing help, the better.
Baby blue made me want to drive off a bridge. If it gets bad, get help.
What blew my mind more that that was phantom kicks! Really threw me off till i called the doctor. They should warn you!
24/7. What helped was a babyphone. Untill I discovered my husband turned it off during dinner .... then it got worse and I had to check the babyphone every few minutes. Because the crying was inside my head.
Yes! That was me! And I always tried to have the fastest showers lol
Load More Replies...The real joke is the mother has yet to realize that's her side of the bed
ROFL reminds me when my DS was a baby... he needed a diaper change and we had no place in the car because we were on our way back from a trip so I laid out the stuff on the trunk. my husband was holding a plastic bag waiting for the dirty diaper when my son suddenly squirted liquid sh** 3 feet... luckily hit the back and not me or my husband... I was laughing so hard at the distance and the look on my husband's face... it was pretty impressive for a 3 month old.
My baby followed through and it went in my face! I’ll never forgive him *balk* lol
Lactating females of any species require more calories and nutrition. Milk production makes high demands of the body.
Only for 6 weeks, then any extra food you eat isn't a good thing :(
Load More Replies...A nursing mom needs more calories since the baby is eating from her.
No way, cos your tummy gets so squished up, there's no where for the food to go!
Load More Replies...It's what you think it is. She's just not aware yet.
Load More Replies...been there done that LOL only when feeding son strawberry yogurt and noticing "chocolate" drips on the floor..... very confused for a minute... ended up having to hose my son off in the shower LOL grandma and grandpa had been feeding him WAY too much dairy.
That is true Daria B but I have the luck to have a good older one... let's say 70% of the time and even if she is sometime evil she is a great kid.
There is no weekend with a baby. Or maybe it is, but you don't know because you don't know what day is.
Weekends are those days when baby wakes up completely refreshed at 6 a.m.
Load More Replies...at least mines' understanding. she wants mommy to sit while she stands to feed. awesome!
When you are pregnant, you have a person in your stomach. As the baby grows in your stomach, it stretches out your skin. When you give birth, congrats, you have a kid! But then, all that stretched out skin is left. As you can see, she is trying to kinda tape it up On to the rest of her skin so it doesnt look weird. This is just what I think, i am only in 11th grade...
Load More Replies...Thank you so much to the illustrator for this! I'm so happy that other women felt my pain with this damn thing!
Part of the stuff we deal with as moms, but that nobody talks much about because motherhood is supposed to be perfect (same situation as PPD, though that seems to be changing)). Kudos to the illustrator!
Load More Replies...um, what is she doing? It's not a breast pump...what else would she be doing?
It's a feeding tube that you tape to your chest and have to line it up perrrrrrfectly to your nipple. The tube is attached to a supply of donor milk or formula. The female body can stimulate milk supply by the feeling of a baby trying to nurse from you. This device helps the mom and baby practice proper technique to stimulate supply while the baby still gets to eat. It's genius but a b***h to do and is so frustrating. I could produce milk but not quantity. We tried this and I eventually gave up due to exhaustion and raw nips. It is also helpful in adoption/surrogate situations. The new mother can train her body to make milk even if she didn't give birth
Load More Replies...And let's not forget the fact that the newborn babies in movies are all perfectly clean and look about 3 months old
And the mom just spontaniousley is in new clothes, looks like she was never in pain, and the baby is fully dressed and 3 hours after birth takes its first steps, lol. But, what do I know, I am just an 11th grader...
Load More Replies...My water broke and 46 hours later had an emergency c-section cos she still didn't want to come out!
Oh mine did with my first.... yer it was exactly like a movie... range the hospital, they said just wait... come in in like 5 hours.... go in... your fine. Take a paracetamol and go home.... go home... get stuck in bath... give up and go the hospital again... they tell you they will check but probably have to go back home... they hit a huge fking red button on the wall for a c section cause I’m 3cm and my babies heart rate is too low... yer.... that was about 12 hours after my water spontaneously broke... lol 14 hours later I had my baby in my arms... second baby was induced and a vacuume and the third was really quick labour, waters birst at last second and another vacuume. All are different...
I hate to brag (haha no I don't) but mine was similar to this. My water broke and an hour later....TAH DAH!! =D
I've got a 21mo girl and waiting for a second one. They'll be both teens at the same time. Two. Teenage. Girls. At. The. Same. Time. It's gonna be soooo fun. I bet I'll love wine more than ever.
Load More Replies......and the moms-to-be start screaming after only one contraction. And they come immediatly five seconds apart.
Lol these were good...and weird, but motherhood is weird sometimes...
To all the moms on BoredPanda: You are great! Thank you for being so strong and raising my generation! <3
I appreciate this so much. My sons 3 now but seeing this bought me back to the day I had him. Motherhood is soand we honestly need to treat ourselves every now and then! Hope all the Mum's who read this are reminded that they are amazing and to not be so hard on themselves.
Arrghh, sent it accidentally. Motherhood is... (you fill in the blanks) lol!
Load More Replies...I didn't breast feed (none of your business) but I had friends who did and I know they can relate to all of this. I can only relate due to the stories they told me. I feel for all of you!
Loved these, bout time a fellow mom made some funny cartoons us moms can relate to! :)
i have seen already so much of the same kind of "motherhood is hard" comics, we don´t need more of it
Oh but another "we" love it! Why bother read it then? just skip it as simple as that :)

So fatherhood is just one big holiday? The few examples in thise drawings where the father is a part, he doesn’t do the job right or he’s a passive bystander. I have three kids and while I know that little children are naturally closer to their mother, I too got up at night, I too fed the baby. I changed half the nappies. Plus I shopped, cleaned and so on. It irritates me when people make it look like the fathers are passive and couldn’t help even if they tried. Some of us actually help out and are an important part regarding the hard work with little children. Dixi.
You helped, here is your cookie! We are proud of you for sharing in the responsibilities the best you can. But this was about the pain, as in emotional and physical. It was about women understanding and supporting each other through the tough times, through the emotional times and through the funny times. Men see things as black and white mostly but our world is bigger than a box of 152 crayons. So when you figure out that this post wasn't about you and you can think in other colors, reread this article and learn what we as women go through in our daily lives as a mother. Then call your mom up if you can and apologize for not recognizing sooner that it isn't all about you!
