As one of the twelve or so folks left in this country who does not own a cell phone, I am at a complete loss to understand WHY in the world people take pictures of children and animals they love in some very unhappy situations instead of immediately helping them. What is wrong with people?

Seriously??? Your Cat is in danger and freaked out and you take a photo?? While you were busy taking photos, your Cat could have died, been injured, lost, or just mentally traumatized. Get the cat away from the bear, you moron!

The cat is not in danger. That cat can outrun that bear or squeeze into an area a bear can't get into. Heck, I've even seen bears RUN from cats.

OMG will you all just calm down, that is not a real bear, it’s a common New England lawn decoration. The cat is in no danger, she just probably wants to warm up inside.

Aww, I need this too at my work. The cat is so beautiful. Love this color of fur. We once saved a kitten like this. Someone dumped him on highway. We found a loving foster home for him.

I seriously laughed at the "Googled my house, found my cat looking for attention" one. Man can I relate to my cat being outside bawling for attention after bawling to be let out just two seconds earlier.
