This chef, who's behind the Instagram account Blondie and Rye, makes the most mesmerizing, meticulously crafted, crispy fresh bread that is simply a feast for our eyes. Hannah—a North Carolina-based baker—has over 100k Instagram followers with whom she shares before and after pictures of her intricate, flour-covered edible artworks. Some of the homemade bread loaves are scrupulously carved, while other food art pieces are decorated with fruits and vegetables. Nonetheless, Hannah's audience continues growing as more and more followers are keeping track of her eye-catching bread recipes. "I’ve never felt so excited and inspired by rye bread!" one woman comments on one of Blondie and Rye's Instagram posts. "The most beautiful loaves I [have] ever seen!" another person noted. These are all stunning. I used to live in Santa Fe, where the Sunday Brunches are famous and amazing. El Dorado, where I worked, employed a baker who created beautiful masterpieces such as these. They also used them as centerpieces. One of which was a partially upright curling snake with a beautiful face. I asked permission and took it home for my table. It lasted for years as the bread became rock hard.

    baker's lame, it's a tool made for making cuts in artisan bread before putting it in the oven. Normal knives aren't usually sharp enough for that and exert too much pressure on the dough.
