Has anyone tried this? Or know the science as to why it works? Just curious...
Hey, I close my left ear when the MTR is too noisy... And I thought it's funny that that works, so this is why!
me too. I dont have time to be messing about trying to see if ice water works. I dont want to lose three days to a vomity, darkness shrouded festival of pain.
Load More Replies...I will totally try this. Right after the puking stops of course...and the screaming. And the pleading for a quick death...
Actually, put your feet in water as hot as you can bare, and ice on your head.( frozen peas are good). This takes blood from the brain, to the feet, and eases the headache. I use this myself.
I find putting a cold pack (peas works) on the back of my neck works in a limited way. For me, I bend and touch my toes for immediate relief (mine are stress-related combined with neck problems).
Load More Replies...I dont know anyone that found relief with drugs while having a migraine...its just to strong to be fixed with drugs...xD
Better to put your feet in as hot water as you can bare. Helps to open the blood vessels to capacity increasing blood flow and prevent migraines
And I don't know why you got a downvote for sayinng so, unless it was a troll passing thru with both RA and a migraine.
Load More Replies...There's a video on youtube, that works for severe headaches and some migraines, I highly suggest if you are a migraine sufferer, it has worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKGtv84aSjo
Anyone else read "put deodorant on a mosquito. Bite to stop the itching."?
Now I know how to get rid of them irritating throat tickles that brings tears in your eyes too... hmhmhm
A better explanation would be, to put your thumb in your mouth and blow. As if you were blowing up a balloon. It's the bearing down that slows your heart rate.
"Useful tricks" maybe, but how are these "hacks"? This term is nowadays used inflationary and out of context. Most of these things are pretty down to earth, no need for sensationalisn.
Interestingly, also in thus series someone systematically downvoted my posts, even so I only made a few comments. Very odd.
Load More Replies...to everyone saying these arent hacks- bro shut up pls im trying to blow on my thumb. ty gn.
Hacks? Hacks? Hacks? Just what on earth do these suggestions have to do with body hacks?
Are these body hacks for aliens who need to learn human behaviour? These aren't hacks, these are common knowledge.
