I draw faeries most days as stress relief and now they are all going into my new book, Blackwater Manor
This is not a book.
It might very well look like a book. It might smell like a book. The pages might even turn under your fingers like a book. You, my reader, my new friend, you know differently. You did not pick this up because it seemed like a lovely bedtime story. You have a curious mind ready for a true adventure. You know that every door does not lead to a room. You might have even guessed that mirrors do not show only reflections, and when walking through forests you are always aware that trees do not stay where they should.
This is not a book for merely reading. This is a map for you to make your own story. Blackwater Manor, as you might have surmised is, a special place and special places need many storytellers. You my friend, who so bravely bought this non book have volunteered not as a reader but have taken on a most sacred duty as a storyteller for all of those who reside in Blackwater Manor. A place so magical it has attracted some of the strangest children ever to put a governess or mother straight to bed with fits and headaches.
You shall be introduced to the rooms, many and fascinating there are. The rooms that I, the house librarian, know of. In your explorations I have no doubt you will find the ones I have overlooked or for the lucky and clever few find rooms I have never seen.
You will meet the inhabitants of Blackwater Manor from those who find themselves to be the most important to those who actually are. You will be given just enough information to begin to write the people, places, animals, and magical objects better than I. For you will surely know them in ways that I cannot.
As with every adventure that you hope to finish alive you must prepare yourself properly.
