Its not only the reflection of a bride, its a reflection of her memories when she was bride.
Thanks for all the heartfelt comments. I am the woman in the picture. It was a rough year to be diagnosed with breast cancer and undergo chemotherapy right before my beautiful daughter's wedding. When I was getting ready with the girls in the wedding and they were all there watching me it was just very emotional. I am doing great now and living every day to the fullest and I am thankful for each one.
Cheese - Thia looks like a mother with cancer and her daughter (the bride). My guess, given their tears, is the mother's cancer is terminal.
NEVER, EVER say ANYONE is TERMINAL!!! The lady in the picture just now commented up there. It's the very first one....Read It!! Secondly, the only people who are allowed to say terminal is the doctor, the patient, and the patient's loved ones maybe. YOU should NEVER make that kind of judgment call. That was a very rude, heartless comment. There are people who, once they hear that word they give up, and then there are the fighters. And this lovely lady is a fighter. I am very proud of her, and I am thrilled that she is now enjoying life each and every day. SHE IS AWESOME!!!!
Load More Replies...Most likely the mother has undergone chemotherapy due to cancer. One result of the treatment is hair loss. You can see the mother has also lost her eyebrows and they have been drawn on, it's difficult to tell if these are happy tears or sad ones...given the image I would imagine they are sad tears and the mother does not have a good prognosis.
Load More Replies...Nancy Smith, having been where you are, nobody understood that for me, losing my hair was the worst part - the rest I could deal with! Allowing this picture to be shared with the world was brave and so inspiring! Well done to you my bosum buddy xx
The lady in the photo commented up the top, she replied to the first comment x

My prayers are with you Ms. Smith. May you live to dance at your grandchildrens' weddings.
The rawness of this video and all the emotions of the day and the road leading up to this day stunning.
These are wedding pictures that show the true emotion of the day and sometimes the oddest pictures are ones are the best. MANY years ago (about 45 actually) my mother was Matron of Honor in best friend's wedding. I was 10 years old. The wedding was a simple, country wedding. Our family had a small instamatic camera at the time. Before we arrived at the church my mom gave the cameta to me and said "take pictures". This was the first wedding I had ever attended. I hung back in the foyer of the church after everyone else entered. I don't think my dad knew where I was. He was probably too busy keeping my 4 year old brother under control. When the music began the bride started up the aisle. Every other person is in the church. I quickly take a picture of the bride walking in before joining my dad. She later said it was a favorite picture. It was the ONLY picture of the back of her dress and the long beautiful veil, the photographer never took one. We still have a copy today.
Beautiful at least you were there for the wedding. You looked stunning. God Bless.
What an absolutely beautiful picture. Such a heart felt moment. Glad to here that you are doing well and thank you for allowing us to be a part of what is a truly emotional moment. Hugs to you.
This picture reminds me of saying - A person is judged by who he remembers when he/she is most happy, not when he is sad or in agony.
I know this is gorgeous, but all I can think of is "If that were me, I'd trip and break my neck going down the stairs!"
I cried at a wedding too. I was Best Man for my friend Steve. Why did I cry? Because my own marriage had disintegrated, and my optimism dashed. Yet I was there for them. (They're still together.)
This is the story of life and love. It starts, it grows it endures with growing strength.
Time does not fade the classics. She may have wrinkles on her face, but her dress is perfect. True beauty is in elegance.
I wonder how the guy behind the camera managed to get that shot without disrupting the war...
Hummies are so fast, it's hard to take a good pic... and then to have the bride and groom in the background: WOW!! Magical!!
When you close your eyes thinking the rice might blind you, but they start acting as ball bearings on steps.
It's a trap; a cuteness trap. Inducing the desire to have children immediately!
The dog looks absolutely fine... it's probably happier up the away from all the dancing people and feet!
Can be viewed 2 ways...little girls looking to their future or grown-up selves remembering their little girl selves. So sweet.
Love the genuine laughter on his face ... It just make me smile too!
i like this, but it's a bit too high on the composition... would be just as effective if they dropped the point of interest down a couple inches
I love this photo. This is one cool bride with her specs on on her most important day...
She didn't get to eat her cake ??? Ok this officially the most heartbreaking photo of the series
This was supposed to me hubs and me 11 years ago. Our borrowed VW bug broke down the night before!
Did you see the photo of the Manolo Blahnik shoes covered in mud ... this must be the feet that wore those shoes.
I so want to fix her nylon on the right. It just needs the slightest twist.
she 's helping to put on the garter, mabe just playing with the dress. Maby a little owkward but when you realize that she's looking at gater it's kind of sweet :)
You should come to Latvian wedding! We don`t throw women over the floor, of course, but otherwise we have lot of funny games to have good time and laugh!
That's such an evil look on that boy's face, has he just pushed that girl over?

Load More Replies...123 was great....the rest...didn't get it. But photography is like art...its different for everyone. :)
There is a few more than 123 that are awesome, but alot were not my flavor.
Load More Replies...I'm a photographer and didn't "get" more than half of these. A backstory would have made them more understandable, especially for context. But multiple winners nonetheless.
Some of them are touching or sad, others are amusing but to sum them up, all photos here are brilliant!
Wonderful photos, I kindly introduce my wedding portfolio: www.fotomasz.pl Regards, Tomasz Hodun ek_1016-5a...f7e950.jpg

I enjoyed most of them, showed the amazing eye of the photographer. I only counted three with owls and two were the same bride, since I personally have never seen a person actually hold an owl I liked the pics. But to each their own, most enjoyable
30 bawhahahahahaha, some are so breathtakingly gorgeous for sure!
