30 Weird And Nasty Things People Actually Put In Writing That Should’ve Just Stayed In Their Thoughts
InterviewPoets write love notes in a bid to win their lover’s heart, dreamers put their notes in a bottle and let the sea take care of it, and many people like you and me, they can imagine their shopping trip with a grocery list.
But sometimes, notes, or rather their writers, take a more sinister turn. As a result, from time to time, people spot passive-aggressive, weird and questionable notes and messages glued to anywhere from shop windows, coffee places, their own buildings, you name it.
Below we wrapped up some of the most mildly infuriating notes that make you wonder why some thoughts land on paper when they'd have been better off kept inside the writer's head.

This Made Me Mad
That's heartbreaking. It looks so well done. Hope they found a different baby (and more appreciative parent!) to gift it to.
To find out when leaving a note to someone is a good idea and when it isn’t, as well as how to sound nice in writing or when it is better to talk face-to-face, Bored Panda reached out to Beth Collier, a communication, creativity, & leadership consultant.
Racist Karen Left This Note
Oh s**t. I dated a Chinese guy for 22 years and I'm a white person who was adopted at birth into a Mexican family. Not only did I sin with interracial dating, I sinned with INTERRACIAL BEING ALIVE!!! XD Also, "a neighbor" is such a racist chode-gargler. I was going to give them cráp for the horribly racist and pejorative term "Indian" vs. "indigenous person" or "Native" or even, you know, the actual tribe name/tribe identity of the person they sent the letter to. Then I remembered that árseholes like "a neighbor" just don't care.
Found In A Tenancy Facebook Group
This is shocking - not that they're trying to unfairly withhold bond, but that they're brazen enough to post about it!
When asked whether leaving a note to your neighbors about something that you don't like is the way to go, Beth said that it depends on the situation.
“A face-to-face conversation can be preferable, as you can get more information (and possibly a resolution) faster from a conversation.” She explained: “For example, your neighbor may not realize that their music is loud or that their barking dog is bothering you, and you might be able to resolve this situation quickly through a short conversation.”

I Was Recently Engaged To My Girlfriend And Someone Sent Me This In The Mail
On the other hand, the leadership consultant argues, “if you leave a note instead, your neighbor may interpret your message more critically, and may respond more negatively as a result.”
Beth says that if you don't feel safe or comfortable speaking to the neighbor, then it's OK to write a note, “just choose your words carefully."

Load More Replies...Electric/Hybrids don't have a positive impact on the environment. They can be neutral at best, but that is not currently possible. Most electricity is produced from fossil fuels anyway. Having an EV and charging it with solar is awesome, but it is a massive initial investment, both financially and environmentally; and takes a long time to start paying for itself. Buying an EV would be a great idea if one is in the market for a new vehicle, but there is no reason to scrap your gas-guzzler if it still runs reasonably well.
Using my 18 years old VW is more environmentwlly friendly than buying a new electric. It is insane how people do not count the manufacturing impact in the equation which is insanely huge for a new car, which most definitely wont run for 20 years. I will keep this car running as long as I can.
Load More Replies...maybe they should look at where they mine for the stuff to make the batteries first
And what happens to the batteries after they no longer work.
Load More Replies...Dear Tire Fighters. I have turned your house into a fertilizer farm. You'll be angry, but don't take it personally. we need to take all the cr@p spewing from your mouth to grow plants and make a positive impact on our environment. sorry, not sorry. -XOXO the devil's advocate
No this is okay, it's called urban farming and ya know we all should really be eating healthier and not eat meat/s
Load More Replies...Hmm surely deflating it then ensures it needing to be re-inflated? So does that not then have a knock on effect to another car towing or piece of machinery (which probably uses petrol or battery) to re-inflate? Thus we have doubled the poor innocent tyres carbon emissions?? Educate yourselves before you preach. Pfft these protest are actually getting ridiculously funny now in certain instances. P.s. edit for spelling mistake
And it depends on how they deflated it. If they punctured it, that's rubber waste because it has to be replaced.
Load More Replies..."Get an EV!" Sure, lemme just go to bed so the money fairy can leave 50k under my pillow.
how did you type the f word enlighten me anna i must know :0
Load More Replies...This has been happening in the UK. It isn't worth wasting your time calling the police for something like this.
Load More Replies...It’s all fun and tire popping until your caught red handed and someone calls the cops and you get arrested and held liable for damages. 😒
And they didn't even stop to think that maybe the person needs that truck for work, like many, MANY people? There's a reason you don't see any Prius' towing a horse trailer or hauling construction materials. I'm not a truck person, but this is just blatant ignorance. I hope the Tire Fighters need to move on a budget and no one with a truck helps them.
They have the right base concept, fossil fuel cars aren't good. Then they execute their idea like a right-wing nutcase. That'll make people listen to your good ideas, act like a total piece of shít.
again, too scared to put their real name on it. Almost like they know they're wrong 🤔
Francois if it is an orginasation they should rethink their stratigy because i doubt this is gonna help.

Reminds me of those dumbasses here in Europe that glue themselves to the street, Starbucks, red carpets and the judge (yes, this literally happened, some activist tried to glue themselves to the judges table).
Aaaaand the best! The judge let him have the table to go

The tire fighters? These brain-dead bozos couldn't think of anything else. Clearly not enough brains to realize that electricity is mostly made from coal
Tire Fighters sounds like the name of a band. Also, "Sorry, not sorry"? How old are they?
So, you imply that you'd basically kill someone for a flat tire and you get 1 upvote. I'm just trying to discuss the topic without insulting or threatening anyone, and I get 17 downvotes. Okaaay...

Excuse me, Mr. Superhero, but have you considered that the truck runs perfectly fine, the owner is happy with what they drive, and has no interest in putting money into a piece-of-c**p hybrid?
Fu$$ them to the max. Ride around with one that burns oil and puts out a heavy cloud of smoke from the exhaust.
Thankfully, security cameras are becoming so much more common these days, it's only a matter of time until idiots like that are caught!
They going to run afoul of the wrong person one day, and it will not end well for them
The thing is, this just creates more cars on the road to tow the deflated SUV. Good intentions…? Terrible, terrible execution
But now they have to use more fuel to get somewhere to inflate the tyres
i know the source cant see this, but tape the not to your tyre and rip a fat burnout
That note should be finger printed and the a**e should be charged for destruction of private property and made to pay the tow bill, etc. It's a thought...
I once came out of target to find a buy American bumper sticker placed on my Toyota camry. Surprise - Toyota Camry is the most American made car on the road.
My husband has a Suburban and whenever I drive it, I get some of these people. He does film lighting and hauls his gear in it.
Besides, all these people who self-righteously walk around thinking they are better people because they depend soley on battery based electronic equipment should inform themselves about lithium mining and what it does to the planet.
While they might not be entirely wrong about driving unnecessarily bulky cars in urban environments, what they do is nonetheless a crime. I call it eco terrorism.
Ah yes, save the environment! They do by wasting paper, wasting ink. Then the person they victimized needs power to re-inflate said tires! I don’t think they thought it through.
Never forget sabotage is a capital felony, don't let foreign agents trick you into helping them with some lie.
I hope they're caught the next time they vandalize a vehicle and with get the living shıt out of them out get arrested. The owner chic have been disabled or elderly had to pay someone to come change the the, and anyone would have to go re-inflate it and change it back from spare. Or what if they had a medical appointment their life depended on and these azzholes made them miss it. Ot they were late picky they kid up at school and kid was abducted, and on and on. They should be imprisoned
"positive impact on our environment" 🤣 if they wrote it about bicycle or walking......but hybrid or electric???? great joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Okay I really do dislike oversized pickups, especially the jackholes who coal roll, but if I caught someone purposely tampering with/damaging someone else's vehicle, I would swiftly introduce they/them to my friends who carry OSFM matching bracelets, so they could enjoy a nice uncomfortable ride in a non-hybrid, gas-guzzling, municipal vehicle.
Deflating someone's tires is vandalism. And messing with someone's truck here, (Kentucky,) can get you killed.
And there ends up being more horrible people in the world than I think..
I guess the Tire Fighters never stop to consider that just throwing away the big gas guzzler would also add to the problem...... Stop thinking small jackasses.... Use most efficiently what has already been produced and created, maximize and appreciate the total world we share. Stop sending revenge and threats around. Concentrate on taking care of yourself and those around you. This is the best way forward for everyone.......
Eco warriors fun report to police destruction of private property is a real crime.
Take it to the police, insist that they test it for fingerprints and DNA. They are going to be a police problem very soon, if not already. Once they are caught, they can be charged and the police will have lots of evidence.
Time to add some cameras to gather evidence for a charge of domestic terrorism and civil lawsuit. Set up a dummy vehicle just like the cops do to catch car thieves.
And now the truck owner is going to call for a huge, black smoke, diesel burning tow truck that will block traffic for and hour while hoisting up this guy's truck to take it to the tire shop to repair or replace his tires. Great plan for reducing green house gases.
God, I'm all for conservation but like this...? Just plain evil idiots.
this is when you pop the tires of every other car in the neighbourhood. or better yet, if they have charging ports... you're gonna need a lot of chewing gum.
Hope there was a camera near by. Vandalism and harassment are illegal.
Not cool.. but honestly feel the same about SUVs in urban areas. These are just disgusting cars in various aspects..Design (Fortress for the Fearful), Size (No space efficency), Fuelconsumption, Materialconsumption, etc...
We have a great big “disgusting” 4wd diesel truck. My husband works in construction. What about hauling heavy equipment, like a backhoe or a dozer, or pulling heavy loaded trailers? A regular truck’s engine WILL blow up trying to pull heavy things like this, hence the big truck & the extra horsepower. And yes, sometimes we go to town in our truck, bc it also doubles as our family vehicle rn, since I can’t pull money out of my a*s to buy an extra vehicle to occasionally putter around in, just so a stranger won’t get “offended”. Some people depend on these vehicles for their livelihood… Just sayin…☮️💟
Load More Replies...Tire fighters? More like [insert insulting pun here I’m too tired to think of one rn. If anyone has ideas feel free to fill in the blank]
No problem with that. No one needs a 4x4 outside of some remote farms in Scotland.
In order not to sound passive-aggressive in a note that could potentially aggravate the situation, Beth’s advice is to “be polite, explain the situation, and look for a solution together. Your neighbor may be inconsiderate, but they may not know there is even an issue.”
Beth argues that it’s best to “write the note like an adult speaking to another adult - not like a parent speaking to a naughty child. Keep your message short and simple - but be clear about what the issue is, and what you want.”

I would appeal this, take it to the head of faculty. It's nasty power play and nothing to do with academic ability.
"If you know the neighbor and have a decent relationship with them, it can be easier (and faster) to speak to them face-to-face. When you talk to someone face-to-face, it is easier to communicate your tone and meaning than it is in writing,” Beth explained.
She also reminds readers to think about timing if you approach them (e.g. you might want to avoid meal times, or late at night/first thing in the morning). “And don't approach them when you're angry."

Found This Note Taped To Our Door After A Dog In The Complex Barked All Morning. We Don’t Own A Dog And We Were At Home All Day
A friend had a neighbor making calls about nuisance noise. Here the one that is too loud has to pay 300€. The first time she did have guests and the guard wrote her a ticket, even though they admitted that they didn't hear the guests being too loud. Then there were several calls from the same neighbor and the guards wrote no tickets since they found no disturbance. The last time they called her on the phone and found that she was not at home. From that point, the neighbor had to pay for the tickets. Sadly it turned out that he had undiagnosed schizophrenia. The sounds were real, but only to him.

some of these made me want to rip my hair out. Especially that racist one about the Indian family. smh
I cannot abide anonymous notes. Got one from a neighbour once, demanding I stop using a specific parking space (not allocated to them, they just liked using it). It wasn’t signed, so I just knocked on doors until I found out who it was and politely declined. Sad thing was, they knew it was my car and could have just asked me to my face or popped a note through my door, in which case I probably would have said yes.

I think the one about walking barefoot must have come from Germany or Austria, maybe Switzerland. We don't talk about "Ruhezeit" much in the US
