Drag queens are awesome. And totally different. ..

To be able to change peoples lives and how they see them selves is a great gift to all.
I'll make a blanket statement about all of the following photos- I really dislike how aging, or less "perfect" faces of women are considered to be in need of makeup. It is so ingrained in us. I always pencilup my eyebrows and eyelids and cover up those age spots. One of these days, I'll be bold enough to stop it, I hope
I love how her eyes come to life after the makeover. Such a beautiful woman!
Unfortunately, on all these ladies, everything south of the chin is scary (speaking from experience)
Can I have him work on me during my lunch hour? How far to Azerbaijani?
I hope he shows her how to put makeup on, after she leaves their!
Wow! She finds that beUty still there, that no one can see anymore. Good for her!
Interesting how many of these makeovers include contact lenses. Some more noticeable than others but a lot of the brown eyes are altered.
That's not the reflection of special light? The before pictures are not well lit.
Load More Replies...She looks gooood! The acne scars were a distraction. With the makeup, you can see more of the real woman, ironically enough.
Toomas, don't worry. No one would ever want to sleep with you.
Load More Replies...How in the hell do they get rid of the wrinkles? What magic lotion do they use?
This one's not super overdone and very cool! It's amazing how this can be done!
Without detracting from his work (which is very good), I don't understand the need to appear younger. What's wrong with getting old? I'd like to see if any man would be willing to do this every day. I don't think so!
Not aiming at anyone in particular, but my Grandma used to say: you have to grow old with grace and class. She never wore make-up. Ever. And still I remember her looking great. And another thing - you will look way better when you accept yourself the way you are, with wrinkles, white hair, brown spots and all other looks-features that will come with aging. People who like themselves have a special glow to them :) I ain't saying these women don't like themselves or anything, it's just a general remark. I also think that a transformation like that can be good fun :)
Load More Replies...I find the light in the makeover picture playing a fundamental role. Also full-cover foundation + enlarging eyes with makeup and artificial eye-lashes does the trick. Overall nice to see, but hell, put a wallpaper on your face everyday... :/
Many are also wearing contacts to make their eye look bigger and lighter, and some even seen to be wearing wigs since their hair length is different.
Load More Replies...Woah thats something l havent seen in 2018 yet. We only had 50000 pics like that on instagram in 2017. Cmon bored panda! You used to share really cool content!
Most ended up looking like Sylvester Stallone's mum. All you needed is a good foundation to hide all blemishes and then accentuate the eyes with a little colour, no need to go full drag IMO.
Well, foundation and contour... The same process that drag queens use actually ! And the light plays a lot, but good job though !
My point exactly! But it i some good stuff he got going on. Just not for me ;-)
Load More Replies...These are WAY overdone. They look like masks, not real faces. There's so much foundation going on that I can see why most of those ladies aren't smiling. Either they can't, because they're frozen into immobility, or they're afraid the foundation would crack.
As somebody who has lived in Azerbaijan for the last 5 years, this is the make up that the women put on and use. This may not be normal for other westernised countrys, but it is norma for these women. And for the smiling, Azerbaijan was a Soviet country. Many of these women grew up in Soviet Times.
Load More Replies...I'm sorry, but all that make-up being caked on makes some of the women like drag queens. No need to lay it on with a trowel.
Sorry, but I really don't like this. The makeup looks very thick, and is not very well blended. The eye makeup looks pretty much the same on each woman, all that pale highlighter right up to the brows and around the inside corner of the eyes, and those overly-thick false eyelashes. And the lips are overdone, too, especially the ones where the lipstick extends so far over the natural lip line that it looks a bit clownish, really. A more toned-down approach to the makeup colours, better blending, and applying the makeup to suit each individual woman's features would have resulted in a more natural look. They look too fake for me - and, anyway, what's the point of a younger looking face if the neck still looks old?
I think it's interesting that they don't look more happy or confident. As someone already pointed out, what is wrong with looking our actual age? The women were probably thinking they looked fine already and now they look unnatural.
Bill: Hey Jeff, how'd your online date go? Jeff: Bill, she looked nothing like her profile picture.
Terrible. Before pics look as if the photographer said "look like your coming off crack for me" and the after pics are just scary drag queen with alien eyes. If these women smiled in first pic and were themselves that would nice to see
They all look a bit like drag queens to me. I think you can spruce up these women without smothering them in makeup and false eyelashes. Nice haircuts, lightly applied makeup (if any) and flattering clothes would be a better way to accentuate their natural beauty. Nothing wrong with aging. Glamorous to the point of appearing plastic just looks kind of sad to me.
Although all of the women look very nice the problem is with society telling us that it is shameful to look old, you must cover your imperfections, you must conform to the standard of beauty the glossy magazine have dictated. You're too fat, too short, your hair is too fine, your skin isn't perfect, your lips are too small, your neck is too short, your face it too round, your face is too narrow...on and on and on. I don't see men having to go through this sh*&.
That's true. But men go through other s**t like "don't show feelings, it's too femine!" or "you aren't strong? you aren't real man!" or "you like clothes and being elegant? what are you, gay?" that sort of things.
Load More Replies...He's talented but I'm not a fan. I don't like how all woman look completely different then what they truly are. Change of eye colour, freckles gone. Way too much contouring. This is what messes with our minds and this is why most celebrities look so good. Tons and tons of make up. Doesn't resemble true life.
Am I the only one who thinks they all look a bit 'drag queen'? I've no problem with drag queens, just wouldn't want to look like one! That said, i think the transformations are amazing!
I realize the makeup was put on very thick, but some of the women had very deep wrinkles. Where did they go? I wonder if he used that special face lift tape?
Yes but once in a while a women likes to do it up a bit, and if they like it so much they want to do it everyday well good for them . Its great they want to look this way everyday
They look like drag queens, not natural at all. A smile goes a long way in how you look! Sad you can't just teach women to enhance their natural beauty, instead you try to recreate them completely :(
I also do this kind of work, I start with a bottle of Vodka and when I'm done all woman look 52.1% better.
I'd be initially excited to get a makeover, but not if he has to change the texture of my hair, hide my grey, change the color of my eyes or my bone structure. No thanks. Also felt that none of these looks are practical for work or daytime.
So here we go again, promoting the image that not looking old is better. Every white hair I have is a sign of my time on Earth, every scar I have and believe me, I have lots visible and invisible are a proof of the battles I fight every day with MH depression . I am proud of my scars because despite everything, I am still fighting.

Yeah they do look younger but you can easily see the 50lbs of make up he stacked up on their face
Make up,is to enhance not completely change...eye colour seems to have change to?
Generally not a fan of makeup especially in large quantities or in a manner that misrepresents what you truly look like. Personally I find it misleading at best. But I will say that this dude has talent, straight up. No denying that.
"misleading"? It's not misleading. It's an interpretation of how one wants to look. No woman wants to mislead anyone by wearing makeup. I don't understand why people assume makeup is for others because it's not, it's for the people who wear it.

The skin smoothing and lip color is nice. But I have to say that I really do not like most of these. To me they are not even recognizable as the same person, and I find that unacceptable. The heavy eyelashes he uses seems to change the shape of the eyes too much. And I question the need to always make a person's nose appear to be a totally different shape than it is in real life.
Also, for all the younger ppl, there use to be a place called Glamour Shots.. This was a place everyday ppl would go and pay good money for super makeovers like this and take pictures while all glammed out.. So for the ppl talking about how much makeup is used, perhaps this is was exactly the glam makeover they wanted.. Big makeovers aren't suppose to be subtle.. They're boring if they are.. lol..
Hahaha! Omg Glamor Shots! My mom & sister have some great photos from there! I was pretty young & didn't get any at photos at the time, but I was sure jealous.

I love applying makeup everyday slowly and try to apply in different ways. It is almost like meditation. It allows you to appreciate your change and find a new you'!
Yes, he is a talented make-up artist, but honestly most of these women look like they're straight off of Ru-Paul's Drag Race in the after photos! Seriously, what is wrong with wearing little, or no makeup?? The majority of women these days wear WAY too much (at least here in Canada).
How does making someone look like a drag queen make them look younger?
Some of them were amazing but quite a few like #12 was way over contoured. And really how much make would it take to cover those wrinkles they earned. If it makes the women feel better than wonderful but I hope they aren't doing this for someone else.
I just have to say #8 was probably stunning when she was a young lady.
I was distracted by the weird eyes. Were they contacts? Whatever - they looked like aliens.
Great talent to transform the looks but I think somewhat overdone. Some looked better before as the makeup looked caked on.
Strange how the majority of the women's eyes miraculously change colors???? Not sure there isn't some photoshop and/or filter trickery going on here..
Sorry but these all look like they've been done with the some sort of face tune / make up app...
Ain't nobody got time for that. I earned the damn wrinkles, I'm not ashamed.
This is another example of why you should always see your spouse sans make-up before you get hitched, you get to see the real person.
This makeup would be appropriate and effective for the stage in a large theatre. At this range, they all seem to have the same heavy, unblended contouring, and put me in mind of reality-TV stars.
I wonder how miserable people's lives are that have such negative comments. Have you ever heard "if you don't have anything nice to say, stfu!!?
Hair has certainly been photoshopped onto some of them so I suspect photoshop has more to do with some of the wrinkle removing too because you can't reshape faces so much as some were with just makeup.
I think lighting and contacts makes a big difference, but some of those women have DEEP wrinkles and my cynicism is saying "that can't JUST be makeup, surely there's some Photoshop involved" but then I don't wear much makeup and don't have experience with anything close to this sort of thing so I might be wrong lol
Great job giving these lovely ladies a big makeover, something that makes EVERY WOMAN FEEL GOOD AGAIN! Who cares what makeup or wigs or contacts were or were not used. This super talented artist went out of their way to make the day of these women, which is something most ppl would never do on their own time and dime! This artist probably made some, if not all of these women feel fabulous for the 1st time in a, long time, and that's the most important thing.. S**t I'm only 35 and would love a makeover like that.. who wouldn't? Thanks for what you do to make your clients smile, and for sharing that awesome experience with us!
These are photoshopped. All the eye colors are magically different.
Many of these ladies look like drag queens - no offense to drag queens.
Every single one of these would be much more impactful without the bright colored eyeshadow. It makes it look cheap. But I think overall it’s a nice job.
Apparently he doesn't like dark eyes, since he found it necessary to lighten so many. The women all look lovely after he's finished, but almost too perfect...more like mannequins that human. Also, my guess as far as the wrinkles is that he's got the skin pulled back at the hairline and fastened somehow (tape?), and hidden under wigs. Contouring can work miracles, but not that much. Personally, I'd be afraid to smile with that much makeup on, for fear my face would crack!
Make up is amazing! What I would love to see in these before and after photos? The person keeping their hair the exact same way after the make up.
I said this in an early post but will repeat this here. I think every woman deserves to look glamourous, even if it's just for one day. To feel and look like a beauty queen is a pleasure for the day. It's just a fantasy and fun to do. Does anyone remember back in the 90's, Glamour Shots? I had them done and they are a fun reminder of the day, I too looked like a star!
Some of them just end up looking like Drag Queens. Rich people can afford the wrinkle shrinking creams, the false eyelashes, the expensive makeup, the extensions and expensive hair color and style, so essentially, you could say, left photo=poor, right photo =rich.
Nothing i find more disgusting than a woman that gains weight just by the sheer volume of make up on her face.well except for fake tits lips etc that is even worse
I feel these women felt down for a very long time in their life that's why they were aging badly and were not taking care of their appearance at all. These photos show us there is no really ugly or age obstacle for a woman who feels good about herself and wants to live with respect, these photos how a fake make-up redone but once a woman realizes she doesn't have to look bad she will not let herself down and will live and age complete fly differently. This is the message I get. Also, don't think media people are awesome and the girl next door is just cute!😄
After looking like a million dollars for a day, these people will return to how they've looked for decades unless they learn these skills and spend hours every day making up. May be depressing for some, but at least they have photos to remind them of what they could look like.
This is Photoshop alive ;) I always said - if you want to know how the girl is really look like - take her to the swimming pool :)
Can't help but wonder how different the comments would have been if instead of Ajerbaijan it mentioned American make up artist.
Seriously? I didn't even notice name of artist or were he/she is from and my comments are negative anyway

Load More Replies...A friend of mine said that if you go on a date with a girl who wears that much make up and they look completely different with no make up on, they should disclose that information straight away as it's essentially lying :D
Why does your friend care? Shouldn't the reason you go on a date is to meet someone you connect with a little?

Imagine being so obsessed with looks that you have the need to comment on the transformational powers of makeup.
