My name is Erez Zadok and I’m an illustrator and comic book artist and my goal is to create simple but relatable illustrations about the everyday joys of raising my female dog, Joya.
In my weekly series of comics, Bundle Of Joya, I want you to know how it’s like to be a proud dog owner. The continuous struggle of getting Joya showered, the sudden jumping on my crotch, the early morning wake up and getting used to eating her fur is just a small percentage of my daily domestic adventures of raising a dog. Be prepared, after reading this series, you may want to adopt a dog yourself if you haven’t done it already.

I love the warmth my dog gives off when its really cold, i sleep the best with her in the winter. But in the summer, OMG! ITs to hot!! ill still cuddle her but will be drenched in sweat and wake up several times because im so hot. lol!!!

Oh yeah, the hairs in the food. Surprisingly I don't find them disgusting, compared to a human hair in the soup.

I make Argo shake well in the bathroom or he drowns all the corridor leading to our room(where he starts drying and "desmelling" himself from the shampoo thoroughly via rubbing in the carpet).

One of my dogs, the Italian Greyhound mix (we call her a Drat, half deer half rat) does this very thing. She loves going outside, will turn herself inside out with joy at the prospect of a walk, will leap enthusiastically into the car... the minute you turn the car on the joy dies into utter silence, and the second you start driving the most pathetic why- are- you- murdering- me howl/whine chimes from her and she tries desperately to simultaneously climb into my lap, hide behind me, and climb on top of me. All the while sounding like we're chopping her tail off. The second the car is turned off the joy and bounce reappear.

Your dog has to have a restraint in Australia. In Western Aus, it is illegal for the dog to sit on the drivers lap.

She's about 30lbs. Slightly larger than your average Italian Greyhound, but painfully thin and pointy.

Your style is awesome and the subject of the comics is exactly to my taste! All these "we've all been there" moments that make you laugh later. That's why I never want to be left "dogless" in my life ever again. I've been living with my first dog for 8 months and they were enough for me to determine that my life was empty without a dog. People, get a dog! There would be laughing, there would be shouting, there would be smiles, there would be tears, but you won't regret it!

I had my neighbor over for dinner last night. I made Filet mignon. He got one. I got one. My dog got one. Neighbor couldn't believe I fed my dog steaks. I've had him for 14.5 years... at this point, my dog has earned it and I spoil him rotten and don't feel bad about it at all.

Love the style, colours especially and dynamics of drawings! If this was in a book, I would buy it constantly for friends with dogs.

These are super cute. They remind me of my dog Peaches. She was a rat terrier and had a similar look to the dog in these drawings. She died in 2015. I still miss her every day.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA so funny and cute, but many of the situations´re familiar to me although I never had an own dog, I walked a lot of pups from our local shelter as a teenie in the 80s when I volunteered there, and also from our neighbourhood as a chld/teenie, our so-called "father" never allowed my sister and me to have an own dog, and later, in the early 90s, I became chronic sick, now I´m disabled and couldn´t care for a pup anymore, but I have 2 senior kitties now, Gizzy and Thori, Angel Sisi had progressed dementia with all its horrible symptoms and ZERO quality in life in her last weeks and months, that´s why she crossed the bridge peacefully on the 5th of January.... I love your comics!!!
