I didn't sleep until 6am due to fireworks and my dog being in a panic all night. So I got about 3 hours of sleep and have to work today.
I love they went to the trouble of turning some of the diagonal whites on their edge in the UK flag so it has a thin line and fat line. Most people drawing it don't even bother doing that.

I don't think there are any Brits who care about July 4th, or even remember it's significance, let alone get salty about it. Most Brits don't even know about British history in US.
Of course we know what it is lol. We do cover it in history classes despite what that wazzok thinks. Most brits a fully aware of American British history. Unlike in the US, we actually learn about world history...

And of course there are over 1000 places in America who have taken their names from English place names. The capital name Washington Comes from George Washington who took their name from the English town in County Durham where his family had land.
