If you are someone that has had a cat in their life for many years, you will know that they are at their happiest when they’re being totally and completely spoiled by you.
After all, in their opinion, they’re royalty and we are merely one of their many admiring fans.
In fact, our feline companions tend to dominate the household and have us running around doing whatever it is they want us to do.
Even when they’ve been up to mischief, destroying furniture, stealing food, or generally bringing chaos into our lives. We still allow them to get away with it all because we unconditionally love them.
We will do anything for them and in return they make us happy. And you know, they don’t realize they’re being spoiled, for them it’s just another normal day.

I did some slow cooked ribs in the Kamado last week, my boy who'd been out wandering all day suddenly appeared and went mental about having some. He's never behaved like it before. Kept trying to steal the ribs from the plate constantly jumping up. Apparently the smell drove him a little bit loopy. He didn't get any because there was onion in both the rub and the sauce. He was not happy.

Get the cat a fountain. Cats like moving water. My cat used to only drink out of the sink until we got her 2 fountains (one in my bedroom, one on the porch). She loves those things and will often just sit there watching the moving water.

I have a fountain but every time I go into the the bathroom I still have one that hops in the sink for sink water and two that hop in the tub for tub water and like a properly trained human, I oblige their demands.

Mine will only drink out of Yeti-type cups with ice in it 99.5% of the time. It started with Blanche drinking out of my water so I made her one so she'd leave mine alone. Now they have several throughout the house. Lol

The guy who built the outdoor house is an idiot. No cat will sit outdoors in a dark box that has no openings to look outside. He could be my neighbor who build a fantasy birdhouse as a feeder with tiny holes for entry and then wondered why the birds wouldn't use it.
