We launched an online campaign to remember the tragic stories of the Holocaust. The Remember #RomaHolocaust campaign went viral until 2nd of August, the Roma Holocaust Memorial Day.

European Roma Rights Center had started the campaign to gain attention to the fact that during the Nazi efforts to eradicate Roma people from Europe hundreds of thousands of people were tortured and killed. Roma people were also often subject to medical experiments. Until 2nd of August we will share a story and an original photo of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum each day on Facebook and in the media.

You can find more pictures on Facebook – share them to remember the #RomaHolocaust and always speak up against hatred.
