When, due to his feet injuries, British engineer Simon Beck could no longer run, he decided to get some exercise by taking long walks. To make it more interesting, 54-year-old would put on his snowshoes and walk in distinctly geometric patterns. Step by step, after 8 to 10 hours of walking it creates some jaw-dropping trampled snow art.

You’ve probably heard a lot of stories about crop circles and aliens, but surprisingly a Japanese photographer Yoji Ookata has found something similar underwater. He discovered a mysterious sand circle while diving off the coast of Japan. It was almost 6 feet in diameter laying around 80 feet below the sea level. Yoji decided to came back with a TV crew to figure out this strange phenomenon.
San Francisco-area based landscape artist Andres Amador creates amazing large-scale sand paintings on beaches using only a rake and some help from volunteers. We’ve already featured some Sand Drawings by Jim Denevan and Snow Paintings by Sonja Hinrichsen before, but it still amazes me how many hours are spent creating something so large yet impermanent as these beach drawings.
