Although these little cute fur balls look like panda cubs, they are actually chow chow dogs dyed black and white to resemble China’s iconic bamboo-eating bears.
The dogs have to undergo two hours of careful grooming and coloring to turn them into tiny pandas. The results will stay with the dogs for around six weeks, after which the owner will have to bring the pooch back for a touch-up procedure. It is claimed that the dogs aren’t subjected to any chemical treatments during the process and aren’t harmed in any other way.
These trendy Chinese have become a must-have craze, and Chinese animal stores are struggling to meet the public’s demand.
