If you thought balloon animals are simply a fairground novelty, then Japanese artist Masayoshi Matsumoto has some balloon animal art to show you.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about them is that Masayoshi uses only balloons – no tape or markers. Yes, there’s even a way to make those detailed eyes using nothing but balloons! Check out his two Tumblrs as well – one for animal art, and another for characters (which do have some tape and marker embellishments).

DAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!! Those balloons are superb!! Amazing work.....just wow...I love the turtle, he's my favorite...but how did he get the jellyfish to glow in the dark?
