Meet this young lady, Audrey Kawasaki, the Los Angeles-based painter, our neverending source of inspiration ever since we have been following her carrier!
She faced rejection quite often during her school years because of the style of her nude paintings, but she decided to stick with it, and time has proven her right. Her influences are both manga comics and Art Nouveau. The former shapes the erotic/innocent theme, while the latter affects the realistic imagery of her works, which gives an interesting contrast to the naturalness of the wooden panels she paints on.
Though her art resulted a pretty big tattoo invasion, we still think that these pieces are perfect on a bedroom wall!
