Anton Gudim is the creator of “Yes, But,” a comic series that turns the little contradictions of everyday life into funny, clever moments. With just two simple panels per strip, the illustrator captures the habits, thoughts, and quirks we all recognize but don’t often talk about. His clean, minimalist style makes the humor hit hard – funny, relatable, and sometimes a little too true.

My desk is whichever surface I use and it's just laptop and my earbuds. These comparisons are overly simplified.
Load More Replies...My current PC is old enough to still have one, and let's be real, I haven't used it/needed to use it in over a decade XD
Load More Replies...Sure, you wanted double extra, so you paid for it. First time for the slim notebook with no acessories that'd made it thick or heavy, and then for all the extra accessories you noticed ther were missing. Some people do not know what to do with all their money.
I never understand the people who get their brows done, they'll never be able to change them as quickly styles change. It'll cost more money to get them undone then they've saved not having to reshape natural ones
It wears off reasonably quick. Most people that do it need touch it up every 18 months or so
Load More Replies...I think I read an article about a tattoo ink that is not permanent for eyebrows. Needs to be redone about every six months or so.
It's called a semi-permanent tattoo as the inks used are different from body tattoos & the needles don't go as deep. But they usually last about 2 years, not 6 months.
Load More Replies...Agreed, and it is frustrating when you just want to know how much is actually there to plan a meal. If it turns out it is like the above, I'll never buy that particular product again.
Load More Replies...Mwah teeth decay is not just due to sugar. Teeth were sometimes worn down to the pulp due to grains of sand in the food.
Load More Replies...The guy on the right is an American, with our typical skimpy dental insurance.
And the problem is what exactly , I don’t see an issue lol them socks are ace 😂
Had a plant manager who did this. He had a new pair of crazy socks every day. I don't know if he ever repeated.
I don't wear socks, just flip flops. I have been to multiple fancy restaurants... in flip flops. So in a way, I can relate
I know a woman who always wears mismatched socks on purpose.
They generally do it so that the blood vessels can rise to the surface and to preserve at least some degree of humanity
Sorry but you are incorrect. I take blood for a living & the alcohol swab does nothing to raise the veins as it's only a surface skin clean (ie it doesn't reach the blood vessels). We use a tourniquet to decrease blood flow back to the heart, which temporarily causes the vein to engorge & become easier to palpate.
Load More Replies...I sometimes use low-cost airlines to get to a location that high-cost airlines won't get me. So it's not a big deal.
Bugattis are what are called "hypercars" and are incredibly expensive. The Bugatti Veyron cost anywhere from $2 million to $4 million to buy. The Chiron (a newer model) costs $3-$5 million. The "joke" is that this is an in-flight magazine talking about a multimillion-dollar new car, on a "budget" airline XD
Load More Replies...This is irrelevant, I usually just eat £1.50 instant noodles watching Masterchef
Maybe shades guy is rich because he doesn't blow his cash on riding first class.
Some of the worst trash I've seen (based on how they're acting) have been wearing designer labels only.
Thats the point of Macklemore Thrift Shop
Load More Replies...This reminds me of watching those "rich vs poor" YouTube videos, and it explains how rich people tend to care more about comfort than looks. Another explanation for this image is that flashy-clothes guy won the lottery but doesn't didn't have a steadier source of income.
Poor guy posing as rich when actually rich one is not posing.
Load More Replies...In the first frame, he is acknowledging and holding out a tip to compensate the waiter for the work of clearing his plate at the restaurant. In the second, he’s ignoring the woman doing the same service for him at home.
Does it look like that? Right, yes. I can see it. In the two pictures. Above, here. (We just read the text.)
Load More Replies...I thought in the first picture he was handing over a sealed c****m to open.
I hate having to scan QR codes at restaurants, it spoils my enjoyment of eating out, which for a lot of us is a treat, and staff are missing out on much needed tips
In my country there's sometimes an option to tip the waiter, though this might be different outside of the UK.
Load More Replies...This guy might be surprised to know some smart locks still have a key option as a backup.
I think the point is that the often pressed numbers are smudged and (surely no one actually does this) the code is written near the lock - so not particularly secure
Load More Replies...Not accurate anyway so what's the point. After some discussion on the "sizing" point I pulled out an old graphic tee I had and held it against a new one. The old "large" is larger than the newer X-large.
Fat Americans are what skinny south Asians think of as 3XL Buddha sized
Load More Replies...Often, hypocrites like this woman go out of their way to justify that they're against what they're secretly practising.
People will wave back to you if you're on a boat (or train, etc.), but if you randomly wave to people while walking on the street, they don't wave back (and probably think you're a weirdo) XD
In cities, that's true. In a village, you are considered a weirdo when you don't wave.
Load More Replies...No walkability on the path. The car bumpers stick out and the window bars also stick out.
Load More Replies...The point is the building is zoned for offstreet parking but the pretty iron window bars mean the b**t ends of the cars are in the street. Its when form trumps function so the planning and paving dor offstreet parking dont matter.
"Modern Life's Strangeness" of melting snow. You've outdone yourself once again, BP title author.
The picture on the right is an accurate representation of snow in England, it's never that pristine, picture-perfect powder, it's just icy mud and depression
I have a 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan. I have to slam the sliding side door with 10,000 out of 1,000 strength points to actually get it to close all the way these days XD (It otherwise closes, but not all the way, and leaves a gap.) Sometimes I don't slam it hard enough and I have to open it and re-slam it. Sometimes I STILL won't have slammed it hard enough and I have to do it a third time, and by then I'm muttering imprecations at myself AND at my van. I'm sure I look unhinged to anyone else in the parking lot who happens to be nearby XD
I had a similar problem with my car. Turns out the screws holding down the little metal loop the door hooks onto were backing out. It just needed to be tightened.
