Have you had that thought circling around your mind for days? Or maybe even years? An absurd notion that you're unsure whether to share with others?
This is essentially the focus of Liv, an artist who goes by the name "Comiclicious" on social media. She incorporates the silliest and funniest experiences from her daily life into her comics.
With that being said, Bored Panda reached out to Liv. First, we asked the artist about how she got started with comics.
"Ever since I was a child I’ve been surrounded by the comic books my father loved and I was fascinated by the illustrations I found inside."

My question about this is say you're a man and you have a wife that you love that dies. After a while you remarry and find another wife you love differently but equally. When you all die do you all live happily ever after together? No jealousy in the afterlife? Just one of those weird things I wonder.

We were also wondering whether the artist was always making comics or if it was just something she started doing recently, and here's what she told us.
"Day-to-day life, struggles, and random thoughts that enter my mind are my inspiration. I am blessed to have very funny family members and friends. When we talk we go far and deep into our jokes and that often leads me to get some ideas for drawing. They are my biggest critics as well."

this one made me chuckle! i'm 5'4 & my partner is 5'7. we met & became friends at 17. i was average, still on the smaller side & he was so terrifyingly skeletal that he would easily drown in MY hoodies. started dating at 19 and we were both now the same size and shared all our clothes. didn't realise he was simply a late bloomer. almost 24 & he's now a tiny tank. didn't grow taller, just wider w his muscles. the greatest a*s i have ever seen and i swear to you that's not an exaggeration. wearing his clothes turns me into a shapeless blob. his hoodies fall to my knees. he's always been amazingly secure in his masculinity & openly joked that he's the "girl" at the beginning, and takes great pride in the way he managed to overtake me in that role! i've always told him i love him either way
For a lot of aritists art is something that was present with them throughout their whole lives, we were curious what was the case with Liv, and here's what she told us, "Art has always been a big part of me. I drew since early childhood and my mom still has my first 'drawing' from when I was 2. I never went to art school, instead, I studied physical chemistry in college, but illustration has always been my way of making my friends giggle, and making nights spent over the books more fun."

A lot of people enjoy the work Liv puts out, we were curious about what it was like to have such a motivating audience.
"Thank you, that makes me very happy to know you guys also appreciate my comics. For the first two years, I drew my comics with my finger on my phone and people didn’t mind. I was reluctant to share my comics because I was very shy about letting so many people inside my brain, and it still sometimes makes me panic a bit. However, every time someone smiles or even passes a small amount of air through their nose because of one of my comics I feel that what I do has a purpose."

Me and my best friend lol. He's one of those weird people who can sleep for 4 hours a night and go all day long. For me sleep can be an escape. And if I don't get enough I get headaches and feel like c**p the next day.

Okay, I'm not joking. Why does this happen? Like, for real!!! I'm always frustrated because of this stupid "98% time" keeps me away from my kids and not having a lot of fun or talks or good times. While the other exhausting 2% time I spend ,of course, on all house work. 😣Any advice will help.

They make me so much sicker now and they last way longer now I'm older. Make me nauseous and feel like a heart attack. Panic meds make me really dizzy so it's a trade off. That's mostly when I come to this site as a distraction.

Not long before I ended up leaving my job as a CSR for a huge health insurance company, taking customer calls, I ended up being the talk of the break rooms by being carted off to the hospital via ambulance from work thanks to what was determined later to be a panic attack. The worst part of the panic attack is the way the symptoms bounce off each other and escalate until you think you are about to implode.

I good cry in the shower always helps me when I'm overwhelmed. Both tears and water helps (there is actually research backing this up). You can think much more clearly after.

I'm honestly more like the first picture. I immediately try to jump in and fix it, or make a plan if I can't fix it immediately. I have never understood crying over your problems but I'm not judging. For me, crying is reserved for problems that have proven to be unfixable over months to years of effort, and that I actually have to live with....

I have loosely curly hair and it HAS to dry naturally. If I blow it dry, it gets frizzy, messy, and it knocks my curl out. 👎

I started letting my curly, easy to frizz, dry naturally. But, I always put some kind of leave-in product in my hair, especially at the ends, not the roots, otherwise I'm still gonna frizz.

But jezz shes got a strange face...and her eyes are too far apart. Makeup can only fix so much. And it wouldnt hurt to pluck or thread those brows...and get some color contacts to give her eyes more uh color...blush doesn't need to go on her chinand her lips need liner so the lipstick doesn't bleed outside of the lines. I use neutral colors and enhance my features, like shading a drawing. If you can comfortably do a No Makeup Makeup look you can start deepening colors and such. Some makeup looks just don't look right on me even though I think they are gorgeous on other people, it just isn't for me. 🤷🏻

Dang, only 1-2 days a month? You are lucky. My current health issues make my pms last about 7 days, plus I get the same symptoms for the 7+ days during my actual period. Half the month gets ruined. 😔

My PMS main symptom is usually the day before and it's basically depression. Like everything sucks and I hate everything, I'm so miserable, I'm just sad sad sad like what am I even doing? What's my life become? Why am I so horribly stupid and ugly? And then the next day my period starts and I'm like "Oooooh 🤦 that's why!". EVERY.MONTH. EVERY FRIKIN MONTH. It never occurs to me that I might PMSsing and that I'm basically wearing the proverbial "black-tinted" glasses...

"When life gives you lemons" basically means "when bad things happen." The meaning of the phrase is that you should always try to turn a negative situation into a positive one and find something useful in it. So in the comic the artist is having a hard time because instead of giving them easy inspiration and ideas, life is giving them negativity. That's how I interpreted it anyways.

I have mine in old tic tac containers, but yes there are free floating pins in my purses and GAWD Knows where else. But I have misplaced the tic tac container but having multiples is good right? You are more likely to put them in their box if you have boxes in multiple spots, because the Absolute NEED to take your hair down to relieve head pain can come on ANYWHERE. Well at least when you have Chronic Migraines and 2 facial Neuralgias among other head/face pain conditions.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one who felt this! I actually started using the back pages instead of the front ones (which is actually nice 'cause I'm a leftie), but now I remind myself that: EVERYTHING DOESNT HAVE TO BE ORDERED LIKE A NOVEL OR COMIC, in a sketchbook! Its a place for starting thoughts and happy noodle doodle meandering - not a chronological journal of creative work and developmental growth - thats what shows/sharing are for (I now leave that to the posthumous people) :) :) :) :) ! You tell that perfectionist part to go away and sit down, its not relevant or welcome when the sketchbooks/new paper/new supplies are out!!!! *blows a very bossy raspberry at that part of your psyche, and gives the eye to my own to remind it about this, too*
