Why Mother’s Are Celebrated
Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I thought this book would be a nice representation to read for our kids and let them understand what a mother’s love is. This book is a must-have!
It is a lovely book written by Robert Munsch. It shows the love a mother has for her kid and how it doesn’t change. No matter how old they get, they will always be our babies. This love is reciprocated by our kids when we get older.

I do have to admit I found it a little weird when the mom crawled through the window. I guess it is a way of expressing that nothing is getting between a mother and her love to her son.
This story presents what Toni Morrison said: “Grown don’t mean nothing to a mother. A child is a child. They get bigger, older, but grown? What’s that suppose to mean?”
