In a dark place a friend, text or even a book could help. What helped you in the darkdarkest part of your life.

(I really do understand this is a touchy subject, but in feel like people need to talk about it. This is meant to be a motivational post :)

Music..... Always. I've been in some pretty dark places, mentally, throughout my life and it's always been music that has pulled me through.... Just that emotional connection, and how certain songs can express the things you just can't say...... That someone, somewhere has felt the way you do, and can express it more eloquently than you ever could, is such a comfort....
Something I rely on more than ever at the moment.....

Walks and Lord of the Rings.

Those things kept me sane (ish). I would go on loonnnggg walks when I was having an anxiety or panic attack and I usually came home tired, sobby, but also much more stable.
Tbh, it sounds cheesy, but screaming at the sky does release pressure.🤣
I also got really obsessed with LoTR during that time. When my mind was blanking out, or I didn't want to think of anything "real" I would go watch a few hours of the movies. I can say now that I have watched ALL the behind-the-scenes, as well as read as many of the books I could get my hands on (Silmarillion, Fall of Gondor, Children of Hurin, etc.)
It helped a ton.
Sobbing over Sam's "there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo" speech is also a good way to release emotions.👍

My boyfriend, I was going through the worst part of my life when my ex boyfriend left to go back to Japan, and I wanted to commit suicide, but then my boyfriend entered my life and showed me that people do care, then we started dating, and on Valentine’s Day I asked him to marry me and he said yes. I love him so much. I would have committed suicide a long time ago if I hadn’t met my boyfriend.
