I want to be a human that this world needs.
You already are a human that this world needs, that I can guarantee you Dew.
Are you a kind and honest person? If the answer is yes, then you are a human that the world needs.
I want to keep this website alive.
I want my online store to be successful, I started just before lockdown and am barely getting any sales. I want to hopefully become successful enough so I can buy my own house and a cute dog. My aim is to get there by time I'm 30, I'm currently 24.
Cut you deadline in half to put some pressure on yourself. Get an expert at search engine optimization so your store is in the top three of what comes up when people search for what you have. Make sure your graphics and photos are full of color, joy and success, because, ultimately, THAT’S what people are buying from you! Last, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF LIKE NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, because without that, you will not get out of yourself the precision target- takedowns that you MUST have in order to make it. Now, GET GOING or I’m going to come over there and light your favorite silk pants on fire!!!
Breakdown what “success” means to you into specific parts and shorten your goal time to 3 years; figure out how to put some real pressure on yourself. Hire a proven master at optimizing your online search results (so your website/store shows up in the top three when people search for what you’re selling. Make sure your graphics/photos vids are charged up with color, action, joy, success. That’s what people are wanting to get, so give it to them. Believe in yourself, like all the results in your life depended upon that belief, and go knock ‘em out of the ballpark, kiddo! YOU GOT THIS!!!
I would just love to get out of depression it would be so nice to see happy days😔
It never seems like it at the time I know, but depression is a temporary state. There are come fairly simple, non-pharmaceutical, techniques that help. For me, it's doing something that helps someone else.
Study Andrew Huberman’s YouTube videos to see if something clicks for you. For me, it’s SLEEP, BLOOD SUGAR (it drops too low then so do I), OXYGEN - throughout the day - even a 20 minute morning walk going slow makes a HEAP of difference. Avoid conflict; no stare-downs...avoid anger - it gets Adrenalin going and that sets us up for drop in blood sugar levels. You can do this! Go for it!
Yep. We will all do this. Find something to do to help make you happier. I write poetry and talk to friends. All people with depression, unite!

You trail off like its a bad thing, that's a good aspiration to have. Clear goals and a want for the future will help you more than you realize as you get older.
I wasn't trying mean it as a bad thing.

Wow, good on you. I had no idea what I wanted to do at 12 along with so many other people. Good luck.
Ive always wanted to go on americas got talent because ive always loved to sing but due to my experience with bullys I only sing to my family now but im seriously considering it again because my great-grandma has just passed away a few days ago and when my grandma (her daughter) asked what she wanted meaning like water or food or whatever she said she wanted her to call me and my parents and tell me to go and follow my dreams cause she will be there with me every step of the way and then an hour later she passed. I love you GG
I want to be a published Writer. I'm already a writer but most of my work hasn't seen the light of day yet. My sister is helping me work on one of my stories which is a major boon because I have a small issue with staying focused on just one thing at a time. I handed out one of my pieces, just a couple of sample chapters to get critiqued on it. I wanted brutal honesty, what I got was a fan club which made me finally realize that I might just be good at this writing stuff. I did get some constructive criticism as well, which I adored, and has helped.
To write a bestselling book series.
i want a record deal and my album to be successful :))
Sadly my dream is one that will never happen. I would love to create a Homeless Hub. Somewhere that has all the services needed in one place. One big issue with homelessness is that it is often a very complicates issue and the people need numerous services to get back on their feet but the services aren’t always easily accessible. The homeless hub would have most if not all the services needed in one place. There would be five small gated communities 1. Rehab 2. Families 3. Women 4. Men and 5. Youths. The residents will help with cleaning and maintaining their own areas as well as the communal areas in their block. The communal blocks would include kitchen, dining, laundry, shower blocks and a small entertaining space with things like TV, deck of cards, some books etc. There will also be a roster where residents will cook dinner for the other residents in their block. The services included are rehab, youth centre, access to GP and dentist through outsourcing, job networking and training services, education courses, financial councelling, family connections and reunions, psychology and councelling services, connections to disability services, computer room for studying, job search etc. Access to hairdresser/barber through outsourcing, help in finding permanent accommodation, get them in the community to volunteer and gain skills, domestic violence services, access to library books through outsourcing, organise forms and payments through centrelink, outsourcing pet care like kennel/cattery etc. A large donation area with clothes, shoes, household items, food etc for the residents to choose some items to help them get back on their feet.
Me too, unfortunately it would cost a lot of money to run and the government is unlikely to want to foot the bill. The homeless crisis doesn’t seem to be very high on the priority list. I have a few ideas that I believe will be HUGELY beneficial to the homeless community it’s just the people I need to listen and fund these things annually are extremely unlikely to step up.

I have absolutely no idea where to start. I know what I want to happen but I have absolutely no idea of how to implement it, the logistics, red tape, laws or the skills to write an actual plan etc. And unfortunately those kind of these confuse the heck out of me.

So, in summary, you wanted to be dead, and buried in a forest? That's the only way the "free of troubles and cares" might happen.
I mean.. not necessarily. But death would be nice, too.

I want a new body or to be without pain for just one day and to be able to get a good night's sleep in a bed again instead of a recliner. I miss sleeping on my side.
Me too. Fibromyalgia and need multiple surgeries on my neck and spine.
My biggest dream or aspiration is being a designer if i cannot accomplish to be a designer i have something else planned, a graphic novel author
I want to have a successful marriage where we are always growing
I want to emigrate to Scotland from the U. S. but need to figure out if it's even feasible and how to support my family. I grew up there during US Navy base operations and my heart never left.
what type of work do you do? if you have any experience with renewable energy you will easily find work. note of warning though, the government changed the elegibility criteria for emmigrating so you will need a fairly well paid job for you and your spouse if you have one.
Unfortunately thanks to the job market I've been a stay-at-home-mom since Oct 2012. My son received his autism diagnosis around the same time, so I consider it a mixed blessing that I got laid off at the time. I work in IT; 8 years as a computer programmer in the USAF and then I got a bachelor's degree in Technical Management with an emphasis in Project Management. Best job I ever had? Being a scheduler in a project management office. That was a BLAST. I got paid to be the good control freak that I am. I'm a bit of "jack of all trades" though. You hire me and I will eventually be able to do a little bit of everything from every department you have because I kind of come in and, if I see something not being taken care of or done well then I *am* going to step in and take over. In a nice way. :) Husband comes from a similar background: 20 years as a computer programmer in the USAF and now solid 10+ years under his belt as a program manager as a government civilian (and he's darn good!)

My biggest dream is to be a fashion designer or interior decorator. I am thinking of doing a tafe course next year in some sort of design. Still trying to decide. My biggest issue is that I am not a very good drawer so trying to get the ideas from my head to paper is difficult.
Betty Edwards’ classic book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” is the best place to start if you want to learn on your own how to draw. https://www.drawright.com/
Thank you. I will have a look.

My biggest top 3 dreams are being a pro golfer, being popluar, and not being alone. ( I have been alone a lot.😭).
That’s sad to hear you are alone a lot. I hope you find something or someone to fill that loneliness.
To be able to retire in 2 years with a mortgage free home. I'd like to then buy a camper or RV and do some small travels with my dog Zoe. Would love to drive the coast and up to Canada-I live in California.
To get to retire no later than 12 years from now. (I’m 56 now.) To stay out of trouble until I’m allowed to retire.
I would love to become a marine biologist, and live on a large rural property that is mostly forest. I would also love to have a horse.
I want to help destroy facism to make a better world for everyone. If it takes toppling a government so be it. we can build it again and make it better for everyone because its not about your religion or skin colour, its about whats inside you and our current government are happy to let the right and left have their fights in the street because then we aren't watching while they f*** us all (and dont even have the decency to kiss us after)
I would love to go to college and university to become a Veterinarian! I love animals and nature so I would love it.
DO IT! You can totally do this! And so many pet owners (and pets) would be grateful to have another wonderful, compassionate vet in the world on their side! :*
Ummm I mean I would love too lol...

My biggest dream... is to be able to move out of this awful row-house and into a detached structure, in a quiet (maybe rural) area. I deeply wish to finally experience peace & quiet, as well as a feeling of privacy and agency. I have no other ambitions in life other than to have peace of mind and no longer be suffering from constant fight-or-flight anxiety due to being surrounded by obnoxious, selfish, and ignorant people and their noise/smoke/litter/etc. I should NEVER have bought this horrible house. I’ve been trapped here, financially, since 2005, due to being traumatized into disability by my former employers. I want to stop hating my mere existence. I’d probably be able to work on creative projects again if I wasn’t constantly in a state of hyper-vigilance and distraction. Shared surfaces and densely populated living spaces are fundamentally inhumane. Dense population spaces create stress and make people hostile. Noise studies show this. Even if you think you’re fine, you really might not be.
I am so very sorry, it sounds like an awful living situation. I hope soon you can find a home to be happy in and that will bring you peace.
I have had chronic depression for over 20 years so my dream would be to be free of it, just for a while.
I've often felt that the Universe shackled us with depression so we'd fit in with normal people. If we didn't have depression not only would we rule the world, we'd be freaking unstoppable. So I feel you. Dysthymia here. For, like, forever. I can't remember the last time I felt truly happy without that feeling that "the other shoe is going to drop". Can't I just enjoy a half-second of joy before you destroy it? <3 <3 <3 You are not alone.
I want to learn how to appreciate myself.
You are loved. you are beautiful. You are amazing. You have the right to be proud of yourself. Do stuff you like. Find a new hobby that you think you would enjoy. You deserve to live a full life. Even if no one tells you, there is always someone out there who loves you. I don't know your life but I know that YOU ARE IMPORTANT 😘
SquirrelFlight, I see you all up and down this page, and I gotta say, I love your style! Pleasure to meet you :)
Load More Replies...Madison, I have a challenge for you! First thing in the morning, every day for a week, wake up and write down the FIRST THING you can think of that you like about yourself. It can be simple (I have an awesome dimple on my right cheek when I smile) or complex (I can recite PI up to 25 places) or silly (I can stick my tongue out and touch my nose). No rules, no judgment. If this works for you, keep going! If it doesn't work for you, Challenge II: ask 3 (or 5, or 10) of your closest friends/family to tell you their ONE favorite thing about you. You could even make it whimsical, write these on slips of paper, put 'em in a gorgeous jar, and pull them out to read on rough days. You *are* appreciated. Appreciating yourself takes a little longer because (if you're not a narcissist!) we're usually focussed on those around us first. <3 Be patient with yourself. And my toughest challenge- practice *compassion* with yourself. <3
I appreciate you and I don't even know you. It took a small amount of courage to post here! Give yourself credit for that! Now what other talents do you have? Can you cook? Sew? Make people smile? Are you a good hugger? I bet there are a million things you are good at- in fact, have you considered MAKING A LIST? I'm not kidding. You re-read the list when you're kicking yourself. You add to the list when you're feeling great. (I have one by my bedside table). <3
I am a voluntary firefighter in Germany and I want this to never end. I love helping people and I love to be with my friends who all are firefighters too. It was by far the best decision i´ve ever made to sign in at the fire department and i never wanna leave again. I finally have the feeling to do something useful and I have found so many people I would trust blindly. It is just awesome...
My biggest wish is probably to be a good artist and/or to stop getting bullied in school. :(
You know you can tell your teacher that people are bullying you; it's not snitching evenhough many make it out to be. I have had MANNNNNy encounters with bullying, and telling the teachers help. You can ask them to handle it and not tell the Bullies that it was you that told them that.
Writing a book and maybe getting it published. I came up with the main characters ages ago as a kid, they continued to develop in my mind. I wrote a story with them as a kid and I want to include the story in my book as a prologue. I've started on the book a couple of times, life gets in the way. Studies, work, family. It's not my biggest dream (that came true when I became a mom) but a remarkable dream anyway.
1. write the fantasy novel that has been developing in my head for the past 5 years, 2. get a couple of my invention ideas out there from my dog-eared $million idea book, 3. help set up a program for budding entrepreneurs in needy areas to realize their potential and make a difference in the world.
I don't know if I have one "biggest dream," but one of my dreams is to read every book on my Kindle. Since I keep adding new ones (love browsing the freebies), it could take a while, but like Rob Thomas said, "one less day from dying young."
My biggest dream is to go into something musical and meet my favorite artists and to live a happy life. Recently I've been trying to be more optimistic and every time something goes wrong to learn from it and not keep thinking about it.
It has always been a life long dream to be in the Olympics. Of course, it is VERY hard to get in and it takes a lot of training. Also, it has been a huge dream of mine to go to Ireland.
What sport? Have you researched? This is not an impossible dream- this is achievable!
Thanks, I've wanted to get in the Olympics for swimming. I'm only 13 but I know that if I realllllllly want to, I'm gonna have to train verrrrrrrrrrry hard to get fast.

I want to be an illustrator. I'm 14 years old, and I've been drawing since I was nine months old. It's always been a huge part of my life - I spend around 10 hours a day practicing. I take commissions and design logos. I also have an online shop where I sell art prints, stickers, shirts, and the like. I absolutely love what I am doing and really hope I can turn this into a career when I'm older.
I want to be an author and see the world one day. I really want to live in Switzerland too, it is very beautiful.
I just want to be happy. I want to get a decent job, get married, have a kid, maybe adopt. Maybe even write a book! Who knows what the future may bring.
I'm almost there. I'm going to finish my book and one way or another see it published.
I want to leave this world better than I found it.
