My Tribute To Orlando Victims

I created this piece yesterday after learning about the tragic loss of innocent lives in Orlando. I posted it on my Facebook page with the following message:

“To my LGBTQ brothers and sisters who have shown me the meaning of humanity when I faced obstacles over the years, who stood by me to show support when I needed it the most – my heart breaks with yours.”

We share the same human truths: we all strive for peace, love, and human dignity. My hope is that my art brings about understanding through the universal language of art.
