Lopifit is one of the latest cycling innovations which combines walking and riding a bike. It was invented by Bruin Bergmeester in Holland and now distribution has expanded to the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Bergmeester started working on the idea in his home on evenings and weekends: “The bike started as a small idea when I was training in the gym,” he said. “How can I use the treadmill outdoors? What about a treadmill on wheels?” The electric motor has a range between 30-50+ miles per charge with a display bar to show the battery status. Depending on the selected gear, Lopifit travels between 4-17 mph. It costs $2,495 and weighs 125 lbs. Would you buy one?

I don’t see how this is worth $2,495. However I would love to own one. Accept I see a slight problem and that is if the belt breaks, how much would it end up costing to fix it? I would also be worried about the bike getting faster downhill and turning the belt faster then the ridder can run. That would be horrifying and dangerous experience... :b But you know its still cool, just has some flaws. XD
