Transgender Man Shares Incredible Before & After Progress Photos
9.6Mviews
If you walked past Jaimie Wilson on the street, you’d probably take him for an all-American heartthrob; muscular build, deep blue eyes, and casual scruff. You would probably never guess that he’s one of approximately 1.4 million transgender adults living in the US today.
In 2015, Jaimie made the brave decision to start transitioning from female to male (or simply FTM for shorter), shocking and alienating most of his friends and family. “At first I was scared to come out with my gender transformation because I didn’t give any ‘signs,’ as people say,” he writes on Instagram, where he now enjoys over 300 thousand followers. After 2 years of testosterone treatment, surgery, and hard work at the gym, 21-year-old Jaimie has sculpted himself into the man he’s always been at heart.
Though his transgender female to male progress is astonishing, the people from his previous life who chastised him for being ‘too feminine’ to become a trans man have now been replaced by his fellow members of the transgender community, many of whom, ironically, criticize him for being ‘too masculine.’ “People say that I’m trying too hard to be like a cisgender male,” he told Cosmopolitan in a March 2017 interview.
The bottom line of it all? “You are NOT who people think you are, you are who you know you are,” in Jaimie’s own words. The aspiring country musician is making waves on social media, and is scheduled to perform at Sziget Festival in Budapest this August, alongside The Chainsmokers, P!nk, and Wiz Khalifa. See his unbelievable transgender before and after transformation for yourself below!

This is Jaimie Wilson, a 21-year-old transgender man and country musician from Florida
In 2015, Jaimie made the brave decision to transition from female to male, in the face of countless obstacles
“When I came out, people refused to believe I was a man because of how “feminine” I presented for 18 years”
He started by cutting his hair and wearing men’s clothes, then progressed to testosterone treatment
After 2 years of hard work, Jaimie has transformed himself into the man he’s always been at heart
“I’ve lost my family and most of my friends since I started my transition but in the process I’ve found out who really cares about me”
Ironically, he’s been accused of being ‘too masculine’ and “trying too hard to be like a cisgendered male”
His response on Instagram, where he now has over 300 thousand followers, sent out a powerful message
“Not everyone has to show ‘signs’ to be transgender. You don’t have to pass a test to prove you’re trans…”
“And you sure as hell don’t need ANYONE’S approval but your own”
“This life is about finding yourself and becoming YOU. No one’s journey is the same…”
This inspirational man is shutting down stereotypes, and his self-confidence is absolutely infectious!

Winning a lotery twice - gorgeous as a woman, sexy as hell as a dude. Go Jaimie! :)
yes indeed, there are not many people who can be that gorgeous both ways!
@65 6c 69 74 65 68 61 63 6b 65 72 Seriously? you ass. I'm not a woman, I very much support all trans people. F**k u
I TOTALLY AGREE❣️❣️❣️ I ALSO AGREE WITH JAMIE, I THINK HE LOOKS AMAZING!! I cannot UNDERSTAND HOW A FAMILY TURNS THEIR BACK ON A LOVED ONE??? It completely boggles my mind. I'm a 59 yr old disabled grandmother. And the idea of not having my daughter , grandson, or granddaughter in my life, or turning my back on them is just impossible for me to comprehend😢😢😢 Way to go JAMIE, I hope your life is EVERYTHING YOU DREAM IT TO BE❣️❣️❣️
My thoughts exactly, gorgeous both before and after.
Agreed .. I'm mind fucked (in a good way).

The irony is that women will always secretly support their own, even after transition into a fake man. I've seen no such article on a man transitioning into a female with as much, if not more praise than a female into a male. This, folks, is what we call tribe mentality. The fact that the majority of the supporters of this article alone is over 90% female speaks volumes.
I'm a man and absolutely support him. So there goes your stupid little theory.
Also I have a good friend who was male and transitioned to female and guess what she got my support too crazy right? I must be the exception
Bravo you have figured us out we are all here to support only women and basically stomp out the (non trans) males with our "tribe mentality"
So desperately sad his family have abandoned him- I lost my son through ill health and if he had told me he needed to do this I would still, have loved him. They don't know how lucky they are. Bless you and I wish you every happiness in the world!
You are a wonderful person, Margaret!! My mom and dad were parents to so many of my friends who were disowned for being LGBT. I wish that they could have had a mom like you! Your son was blessed to have you! *hugs*
i have zero against LGBT i am a man, i believe there is a higher power in life that will judge are lives, but saying that even the christian god says we should love everyone, i do not believe who you chose as a partner in life is what god is offended by, god i believe is simply offended by taking pleasure from sex, that is simply my opinion, i do not judge anyone else on how they chose to life their lives, i do not find taking joy out of sex as being imoreal when trying to procreate.
I lost a son in the womb & it was so physically traumatic that I can't have another. It pisses me off royally when I see that someone won't accept their child. I also have transgender & gay family members & I wouldn't ever want them to suppress who they are just to make someone else happy. If anyone doesn't want their child because they're different, there are plenty of people like me who'd be more than happy to take them in & call them family. Spreading ugliness & hate is what's wrong, not following your heart.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Love your comment, good heart. Xxx

Ones choices in life have consequences sometimes that are not always good...
I will never understand a parent giving up on their child because of this or being gay or the like. Never would that cause me not to love any one of my 3 kids. How could I?? I made them, they are part of me, my blood and flesh. So sad for these young people who need their family and friends to be there to help support them.
Neither will I. You just abandon 18 yrs (or less or more) of care and love with the blink of an eye, just because they don't love like you want them to? I'm not religious, but if there were an afterlife, I sure as heck wish those parents to stand before their godlike entity and be demoted to scrubbing the underside of their god's shoes! I can understand a lot, but I will never understand someone willingly shutting out their children for something ridiculous as this.

To be fair if you had a son or daughter for 18 years it would be quite an emotional adjustment to deal with the loss of one and the appearance of another, don't you think? If it was obvious throughout his/her childhood no doubt it would be easier to adjust and be happy for your child. I wouldn't be too judgmental. Some people just aren't flexible mentally or emotionally. Hopefully those that aren't will come around in time. In Jaimie's case maybe the friends and family were rigidly religious.
I'm with you there... I'll never understand either...its heartbreaking
If you're able to toss away your own flesh and blood over such a minor thing, then you're not much of a human being.
Minor thing?

Metal illness is no laughing matter Phil...
I'm with you. I'll support my kids in any path they follow. Except bullying. If they turn into bullies we're going to have a problem. But gay, straight, bi, trans, whatever, I couldn't care less as long as it's right for them.
@leonie harris Amen!!!!! Support them unless they bully! (In which case still love them, but help them get better)

Not everyone thinks like you. I would had done the same thing. I couldn't live with my daughter doing a stupid thing. If you are a Girl, you stay a girl, if your are a boy, you stay a boy. Or if you want to change, you have to accept that people may not want to talk to you. Each people have the right to react like they want.
And that attitude is why you will die alone because your kids won't be able to handle the fact that you're a bigot who doesn't love them. Because NO PARENT who cares for their kids would say one word in your execrable post.

Yes- spot on pilipe! 💑💑💑💑
He looks fucking amazing, well done sir.
As a transman myself, can I just say that "brave" always strikes me as a weird way to describe a transition? Like, it's not something does out of courage, it's to feel more comfortable about yourself. You don't, say, call someone who is overweight and decides to do a work out regiment "brave". I understand that calling it "brave" is based on the fact that societies can still be ambivalent about trans people, but bravery isn't the operative feeling in the decision.
Maybe, to you bravery does not seem an important factor. Maybe for you it wasn't even. Now, here I am, another example. I never came out to my family or to anyone, and probably never will. I can manage my life without becoming my true self, or being honest about it to the world, it's easier. But when I look at this guy, I feel - he is so brave, I would never have the guts to go through it. I will always chose to stay "hidden". I am cowardly in this question, and he seems brave. (another question is, to what level are you feeling uncomfortable in your present self. Probably there is proper terminology for it, but I believe some might feel like being in the wrong body completely, some, like me, that it's kind of okay, kind of not, being somewhere in the middle)
I wish for you the same 'freedom' this young man must be feeling after letting go of his fear that his life would never be the same. No, it will not be the same, hopefully it will be better. I wish the same for you. (just a grandma in Canada feeling sad for people who have to hide their true selves). Be good to yourself!!
They say that because a lot of people face a social backlash for being trans. You don't get backlash for losing weight. They don't do it for the purpose of being brave. Bravery is a byproduct of choosing to be yourself if who you are is demonized by others. Most people who lose weight aren't demonized.
@Meowton, I'm so sorry for my boring essay, if it's optional I would most definitely delete everything I just wrote, because I'm not making any sense. It took me like forever explaining it to myself that this two stories has a lot of similar situations, and one of them is dramatic demonizing something that you are doing, because of your desperate love and passion, and also because of your whole purpose of existing. Again, I'm sorry that you inspired me to think "out loud" about that life I'm loving to live. Like my friend loves to say: "You're not living on Earth 🌍 , you have daily ability to leapt through life. You're just visiting us when you're not in the atmosphere." (lovely thought :) ).
3)...for dancing, the greatest love of my life. Everything major in my life is somehow attached with The theater
3)...genetics and predisposition
2)...so as losing weight. Trust me, in this hard-working world ("blood /sweat /tears" is nothing, it's just one more phrase that looks good on paper, but "in vivo", you don't wanna know), everything and everyone is demonized if you don't obey exactly what they told you to eat, when you're supposed to eat it, and of course, exact amount of whatever you're about to eat. And how they are treating ALL of their dancers isn't healthy or humanly, but hey!, they already knew that nobody would even consider to work for them, if we aren't hopelessly devoted to and, of course, 100% in love with this dance. I, personally, am blessed with "dancer's body"-strong influence of genetics and
Accept the exception! My whole life, year by year - this year will be my 30th anniversary to dancing with The National Theatre (I'm not much older, lol), all that time I was "forced" to listen about gaining weight, so as losing weight.
I feel that the word brave is not condescending. Perhaps it's used to describe how most would feel against the fight against uneducated bigots, ignorant bible bashers and intimidating arseholes. X
That's what I thought. If his family turned him down, that must have been a real battle. Have a nice day Kristy!
@Master Markus: I would say this instance is considered brave because he stayed true to himself and, by doing so, lost a lot of family and loved ones in his transition process. Not a lot of people could do that. I don't think I could. Imo, that's what makes him brave.
I think that's your experience, and that's fine, and valid, but it's not everyone's. Some people really do feel that it took a lot of bravery in order for them to transition.
You may not see yourself as brave, but you don't need to. Brave is not a feeling. It's simply having the courage to do something that you know must be done at incredible risk to yourself. Any person who decides to be themselves, knowing how great the cost will be for them (loss of family, friends, etc), is most definitely brave. Not only trans people in unwelcoming families, but also people who have the guts to leave an oppressive religion, gays who come out to their uber conservative parents, women in patriarchal societies who have the audacity to stand up for their rights...it all takes a great deal of bravery.
I agree, Markus. As a Trans women, I know it's coming from a good place, but 'brave' also strikes me as a bit off. I'd be brave if I threw myself on a land mine. All I did was become my true self.
@Bianca, is this your photo?
Bravery isn't a decision, it's just a consequence of the decision Just like not transitioning would have still been a brave decision. bravery is just decided to do something Despite negative consequences...both transitioning or not transitioning would have negative consequences, so both choices are brave.
It's not really a "bad" thing to say, I just feel like the word "brave" gets thrown around a lot in fighting discrimination, or being yourself in the face of discrimination, and I just don't personally relate to it, because for me it was less of a struggle and more of a gradual realization followed by the burst of confidence to tell people who disagreed with me to go fuck themselves. Also, a fuck-ton of waiting. OH MY GOD, doctor's appointments.
You folks need to switch to decaf. He's just talking bout the word "brave" and it's usage, for christ's sake.
She is still a women on the inside, regardless of how she wants to change her outside appearance... one CAN NOT change ones chromosomes!
Ann, no one is trying to change their chromosomes. This person just decided that he feels more comfortable living his life as a man. Why do you get so upset when a perfect stranger lives his life in a manner that you wouldn't?
Well unless she is on an operating table or getting a pet scan, the inside shouldn't really come up that often. I don't think we regard chromosomes in determining who we are. If a little girl wants her room to be blue wer don't say "honey it won't match your chromosomes" we might say "honey the conditioned stigma which i have learned from society that pairs certain colors with gender as determined by your genitalia forbids me from allowing you to have a blue room for fear of what the neighbors will say or that it will influence your behavior in unfeminine ways. "
I guarantee 100 percent that if you would have passed him on the street and not seen this article you would not question whether he is a man or not. If you hadn't seen this article and someone stopped you, pointed to him and said "that is a woman" you would laugh in their face.

Would you consider it "brave" if I were to change my race from white to black or vice versa?
No, but we consider it stupid that you would make the racist comparison.
Come on... winning on the DNA lottery twice, this is not fair... ;) :) Keep strong. Congrats for being strong enough to find your true self!

Its OK Dave God made her a girl not a boy. People that thinks its alright to play God will be judged by him. We can't judge them just state that its not right and its not right. God made man to be man not to change to woman the same goes both ways.
Hank . .and you know is, HOW, exactly?
Fine if you believe in God but take that one step further, God LOVES ALL HIS CHILDREN not he only loves boys or girls but all. It is your soul and true heart you will be judged on not your sex. If you believe that is?!
LOL "God". God's not real, ya silly bum. He's just a lie your parents told you, like Santa Claus.
If God made man, then God gave man the option to change Gods mistakes.

They are not being themselves, they are transforming on something else. They don't lose anything, because with what he did, he puts away his parents. For me he will always be a woman. It's not because he made surgery that she is a man.
hey should be proud no matter what, i totally embrace his courage to share this .. and he's stunningly beautiful !! i could fall in love with him on the spot
Omar shut upt. You're not a doctor or a psychiatrist, you don' know this man. Now go play with your Gi Joe's

She changed from female to male lol
He's handsome. And happy for him that he's living his life the way he wants. I have a gay brother and a lesbian sister, I always tell them I'll be two steps behind in all their decisions in life. As long as their happy without hurting other people, then I'll be with them all the way. There should be more love, less hate.
that's she
Pedro, a bookshelf is an object. As opposed to gender, which isn't clear-cut at all, even scientifically. Do your research on science before you make comments that are only backed up by pure beliefs.
At last, a sane person, maybe three if you count me and Mark Duncan (below). Too many people are doing this kind of thing, but the reality is no one can really change their gender. If you want to be a bookshelf, you can't. You can tell people to address you as a bookshelf, but you just can't be one. It's all in the mind. If you do the research, you'll see how many people commit suicide each year due to mental illness. It's appalling that the government allows people to run around with their mental illnesses unchecked.
I just don't understand why strangers care enough to hate someone who they don't even know?! I understand families may sometimes struggle because it is a change to their lives but generally their concerns are about what other people will think and the stigma related to it. Who cares what sex they identify themselves as or what sexual orientation they have? Are people really so jaded about their own lives that they need to put anyone down that is different to them? With things like war and hunger in this world, it is honestly pathetic that anyone is spending their time preaching on who should look like a man/woman etc. Jaimie looks great and most importantly, super happy. We only have one life, respect the fact that they want to get the most out of theirs.
Wishing you the very best now things are becoming focused. Boy, you were blessed with some fabulous genes and I am glad to see they are working for you. You've worked so hard. Congrats!
As a mother of 3 grown men and a girl I would be so so proud of you if you were one of my kids xxx Keep smiling and all the best Jaimie xxx

Yes Mark. We all find you disgusting. Move along now.
Mark Duncan, hate all you want. Anybody hating you back? No. Keep your vile thoughts to yourself.
I think the "before AND after" are both "WOW!"
Gorgeous! Honey, you can come home to my place any time (I'm a harmless old lady, you're safe ;) ) and have your holidays and join our family. I wish you the best in this crazy world -- keep holding your ground!

She can now work at the circus. The georgeus it! Not a woman not a man. Let stop taking hormones and see what happens. She was taking the wrong pills. The medical team should be imprisoned for mutilation instead of helping her to accept her real body. Of course it is more profitable to comply with wacko girl's dream of looking like a man. Being a woman is a glorious thing of beauty and life she disecrated all that with this abomination.
You're a horrible human being. HE is an attractive person. If we take away his hormones, why don't we take away people's anti-depressants? Or fertility treatments? Or seizure medications? Or take pain meds from people? There's nothing wrong with him, you're the one with the issue. HE hasn't desecrated* anything. He has merely modelled his body to feel comfortable in it.
I don't find him too masculine - he looks exactly like a guy his age who lives healthy and excercises should look like. On that note a thought that occured to me: It seems easier (looks wise) to transcend from a woman to a man. There are a lot of metrosexual men (no offense meant, just a private obesrvation) and a woman who becomes one doesn't out as much. I think men that are captured in woman body have it more difficult as usually their looks are, especially facial, are sharper and harder. All the best Jaimie, don't let them get you down!!

It's about male culture and position of woman. Women are seen weaker, and less potent, so someone looking like man taking her role as a woman is violation toward power of patriarchy, which want to state status and competition, and not expressing your own identity but hiding it. For same reason, being gay male is violation towards patriarchal power.
Jamie was an attractive girl who is now an attractive guy. Haters gonna hate either way. You do you, man.
I mean, Jamie was never a girl to begin with.. just appeared as one. Good point, though! :D
Good for you my friend, live your life for you and tough luck to the people who can't except you for being you, it's their loss.
Oh and Jim, I agree, my dad is transgender (male to female but we still call her dad) and she is doing incredibly well. I appreciate all the support from people like you, having seen some of the more transphobic sides of the world.
Wow, Mark, you are just a little ball of hate, aren't you? Have some chocolate, it's scientifically proven to make you feel better, maybe it will fix your bad day. :)

"Accept". English, try it sometime.
Wow, Mark, you are also a spelling police? I would really like to see you in person.
This is a sad story how is family have turned there back on him shame on them they should be helping him it is hard enough to go through this but even harder without your family,as for his so called friends good riddance to bad rubbish. You are who you are you were not happy being a woman and it takes courage to go through the journey but at the end of it you are the person you want to be Good Luck on everything you achieve and finding the friends who see you as a person and love you for it.
Well, good for him. Maybe one day his parents/friends will accept him for who he truly is, maybe not, but either way he's happy with himself. And that's worth something.
Like the other transgender article that was posted some time ago, if I had not read this and just saw him walking down the street or see his pic, I would just think it's a guy (and a pretty cute one at that ;) ) It's sad that your family and friends left you but at least now you know who your true family/friends are and who will love you no matter what.
It sucks that his family does not support him. I try to put myself in their place but nothing in the world could stop me from loving my kid. Nothing. I wish you the best in life, Jamie. And also, I wish you better friends and an amazing family on your own.
I have told my 2 children that the one and absolutely ONLY thing that they could do to make them stand on their own without my support is to cold blooded MURDER someone. I am not talking about killing someone in self defense, no I mean cold blooded homicide. The way that I have raised my son (just turned 17 in Feb) and am still raising my daughter (10, 11 in Sep) if they were to ever murder someone I would be completely lost and flabbergasted as to how they would think that was okay. Anything else, ANYTHING else, and I will always be there to support them in every way possible.
Ditto that--and the family you CHOOSE is almost always better than the one you're born with! Much luck, gorgeous!
We don't really know the whole story, do we? Maybe the family tried to support her by getting her the mental help she needed, but she went on with her transformation regardless. This is a cause of mental illness, as proven by science. The problem is that the government is dealing with too many people who suffer from mental illness, and the system is having difficulty coping with it. Besides, "privacy" laws don't allow the government to interfere with the private lives of citizens; well, to a certain extent, and only if it suits their needs.
Amazing! Congrats and all the best!
Wow, could you BE any more handsome? Mad props to you!
Definitely blessed with a gorgeous body. This is what people don't understand about being trans: It's not how masculine or feminine you are that makes you a boy or a girl. It's not what you do, or what you wear. It's that core identity that makes you a boy, or a girl, or something else. And it's so great when you're no longer afraid to show who you really are.
Mark you seem like a person who is miserable with his life and had this abject NEED for attention. Apparently the only attention you are used to getting is negative attention there for causing you to seek out more. It's okay, habits are hard to break and it definitely takes time, but I am betting should you be brave enough to take that time that YOU would be just as happy as this person is with his life. Try it sometime. The feeling that you will get from it will be something new and amazing!

No. It is your chromosomes. All the mutilation and chemicals in the world won't make her a man.
Science disagrees, Mark. My god you seem MISERABLE.
Okay, so what about people with XY chromosomes and androgen insensitivity syndrome? What about XXY, X, etc? Don't try and use science to cover up your bigotry because you get embarrassed when we scientists come in and correct you. Go get some help bro, you're way overly upset over this gorgeous man living his life the way he wants
Your ignorance is an embarrassment to us all.
Chromosomes didn't make you one, either.
Ok, Mark is another ignorant in this big group of people. Read something!
Good luck Jamie. If your friends have disowned you they were never good friends in the first place. Sending love.
He is gorgeous!!! Cannot believe he lost his family and friends because of this. :( All the best to you Jaimie.
Just to be clear, the 'bathroom bill' Texas and a few other states are trying to pass will force this guy to use the ladies room, because...women will feel safer with him in the bathroom with them? Wait... o.k. now I'm confused....
Yep because he was born female, if people policed the bathrooms he would still have to use the ladies room instead of the men's room. Same with dressing rooms. Before he began the transition, he couldn't use the men's room. Now if the bathroom bill were geared toward protecting the Trans community, he would have been able to go into the men's room without harassment. Fast-forward to now, he could use the men's room or fitting rooms without being harassed and/or discriminated against.
Well done Jaimie! I'm sorry it took losing friends and family but so glad you are happy now. You are amazing!
Absolutely stunning as a female and male.

Wishing you all the very best for the future Jaime, you are gorgeous and as for the so called family and friends that have deserted you...well they weren't real family or friends and you don't need them or their negative thoughts
You know how you are and that's what matters. Plenty of people will accept you but if you are not true to yourself then you will never be happy. Love is a powerful thing that people often misuse to control people. Wishing you the best life you can make for yourself!
Be yourself, be the best person you can be, are you happy...then sod everyone who cannot support your choices!! I will x
@omar suleman F**k the f**k off
Mark Duncan you right dude she is women no matter what everybody say
You do you. No one else's opinion matters.
BEAUTIFUL inside & out...HE is what COURAGE looks like...God Bless YOU !...xoxo
It's tragic that his family and friends deserted him, but he has had the courage to be true to whom he wanted to be. I send him cyber-hugs.
We only have one life to live - live it honestly and as yourself! And btw ( it doesn't matter at all to this issue) in both your female and male shots - you are stunning.
Holy cannoli!! You are super hot! Sorry, I know it's about so much more than that, but I thought I would just throw that out there. :) Good luck to you!
What an amazing and handsome man from inside and outside! “You are NOT who people think you are, you are who you know you are" I love this sentence! Really! It's the same I always saying to everyone in my life who is struggling with himself. Such a deepiest truth! I wish Jamie the best and most wonderful for his life. True friends, true love and as much happiness as he needs to be happy!
@Mark you are the only one on here with the mental illness, get a life and stop trying to spread your ignorant hate.

Frist to say mental illness wad wrong but the frist thing he said was right we are not god so stop thing you are. And to say that it Gods fault people get killed. Not all true. More die from false gods you know like Muslims and Satan himself which thinks he should be a god there's only one true God and that's Jesus Christ!!!

You are who God made you. Not what some mental illness causes you to want to be.
Religion is more a mental illness than being trans. 1000s of people haven't died by the hands of trans people, but have at the hands of religious zealots. Take your bigotry elsewhere
First off, congratulations! And all the very best! You are hero and you look good!
PS Jane Voorhees you, OBVIOUSLY need mental help. Coming up with placing kittens in an oven does not make them biscuits is appalling and VERY disturbing for you to use as a comparing metaphor. Please, seek out your nearest psychotherapist and book SEVERAL appointments as soon as possible!

You obviously have no sense of humor asshole
Being able to do something that goes against what society accepts, and being able to over come the feeling of abandonment and not knowing where you "belong", in a society full of negativity (which the two of you are proving my point right now) makes his actions, and his very life, brave and a hero to me. I don't date to even ask who YOUR heroes are and what they had to do to become labelled as such.

A hero??? Lol.

LOL Hero !!!!! I agree Ben Smith You can put kittens in the oven but it doesnt make them Biscuits
Real victory comes when we no longer see this as a news-worthy article.
Not only would I not know he is transgender, I am totally attracted to Jaimie as a male. I see Jaimie as an attractive woman, but am not attracted. Same person. This makes me wonder what sexual attraction is.
That would mean you are gay, assuming you’re a boy. ( Or Bi, Or Pan! ) :>

You're gay
Whoa. Definitely looks happier & more comfortable as a man. Not to mention the model-quality good looks! Sucks having to lose family & friends like that, but they were just dead weight anyway. True love is unconditional. Any parent who retracts their love from their child FOR ANY REASON has failed.
If they were to do that then, yes, somewhere as a parent it COULD be seen as a failure. At some point in time though parents have to stop being blamed and the person the child became has to be held responsible for their OWN decisions abd actions. Anything else, ANYTHING else, and I will always be there to support them in every way possible.
I think the female-male transitions are less obvious than male-female for the simple fact that testosterone does incredible things to the human body. Its harder to "reverse" masculine features than it is to reverse feminine ones.
'Too masculine' what the fuck is that shit?
'Too masculine" What the fuck is that shit?
<3
Congratulations on becoming who you always knew you were. I hope that one day your family realises what they are missing.
Transgenderating (is there such a word) is probably one of the most important decisions a person can make and it is their choice, no one else has the right to judge. He knows how he feels, and he feels masculine. I know people with whom I've grow up, and went to school, and I feel that that are trapped in their bodies. I only wish that they had the courage to change, but the loss of family and friends is too hard for them to endure. If family and friends truly care for you, they would stick by you and defend your decision. Go for it, and enjoy your new life.
So many people in the comment section woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Luckily, however, there are many that support you. I m with them, my dad is transgender (male to female) and trust me, we will gladly welcome a new member! Hello! I'm sorry all that bad stuff has happened to you but hey, we will be here for you! It's just good that you know who your real friends are now!
your dad has mental illness you should take him to see a Doctor to cure him from his hallucinations you sad soul
one incredibly hot man...sorry about losing family and friends...hopefully you have surrounded yourself with those that are true family
Whoa. Definitely looks happier & more comfortable as a man. Not to mention the model-quality good looks! Sucks to have to lose family & friends like that, but they were just dead weight anyway. True love is unconditional. Any parent who retracts their love from their child FOR ANY REASON has failed at life. Haters gonna hate!
dreamy
Why do we even have to say transgender? Let him be just a regular guy, for crying out loud.
The person is Jaimie and that's all they should be called. It's pointless to label people.
What a gorgeous young man!!!! 😍😍
Jaime was a great looking woman and man. I am glad he stayed true to who he was. People come and go in your life and will accept you . It is more important to live your ow truth.

Jaime is a girl stop lying to this sad girl
You can just tell in the pictures that he feels more himself. Congrats on being brave enough to do you. I am so proud of you.
Wow! Congrats! Looking great! Be the best YOU you can be :)
...wow!...you are handsome Jaimie!...x
You are Beautiful inside and out, Live your life be free for one of the gifts god gave us free will. I wish you happiness a life full of love and blessing.
The people who are no longer your friends weren't your friend to start out with and it takes a lot of guts to do what you did you have feel good in your skin you family needs to be happy for you. But your family lost not only their daughter but their son and it is their lost, I feel very sorry for them. I wish you the best of luck in your journey and many you have the true happiness in you journey life.
I agree, except that I don't feel sorry for his family. I mean, I could understand that they don't get him, or that they just have trouble adjusting. I mean - that'd be pretty strange for a parent to have suddenly a son when they were thinking they had a daughter. But just dropping him because he is not inside what his skin showed to the outside is just idiotic and doesn't deserve pity. But people kick their kids to the curb for being not straight, and it just makes my heart hurt for those kids. Because it's all well and amazing to tell them that their "real family" is the one they chose, not the one they were born with. But that's just not true. If they had a good childhood, being shut out by the people they had always been told would love them forever will fucking HURT. Imagine not being able to come home and smell the cooking in the kitchen, never going back to Christmas-holidays, no birthday-wishes, no phone-calls, no nothing. Like they don't exist anymore,
, and like all those words of love and care were just lies. How can anyone think that is RIGHT? How can anyone think a person they loved only seconds before they told them about their love-life deserves this abominable treatment? How CAN THEY DO THAT and justify it with anything, especially with words from a religion that supposedly is all about love and understanding? I wish the PEST on those parents, I really do.
I have a 13 year old daughter (son), who is trans an I knew from a young age she was not in the right body. For Halloween she would dress as a girl, put nail polish on her toes. But I love her no matter what, if I give up on her now that is just more pain layer on she will have on her mind, she is also type 1 diabetic since she is 3, so she has enough on her plate. We do ally go in a few days to get her on estrogen, she an I both are excited for this new adventure in life. High school this year is going to be hard but with a mom like me, I wouldn't think twice to go to school an have a talk with who ever about making a smart ass crack about her. I love her no matter what.
So glad she has a mum like you :-)
Wow, Dude, you were a Seriously Hot Chick. And My Buddy Rolf is over here drooling over you as you are bow. I don't want your pretty boy ass anywhere near me when I am out looking for the ladies, I don't need the competition. J/K Hey look if your family don't want you, If you don't mind being black you can be my little brother.
LOL can one change their race just like that, I'm asking for a friend!
The one thing I hate about these posts is how nobody with serious (if somewhat misguided) questions, or who express ANYTHING other than abject praise, are vilified. You're never going to make society better by shouting down opinions that you disagree with. If you want people to be more sensitive and more accepting, that begins with you.
I haven't spotted any questions yet...just support or abuse.
Jaimie Wilson, You are awesome! Shame on your family and so-called friends. If you ever need an "adopted" Grandma, just let me know!
As if knowing that friends and family left him wasn't already upsetting enough, knowing that people are accusing Jaimie for "trying too hard to be a 'cisgendered male'"... Is just... wrong. It's in moments like these that you can really differentiate the people who actually support the LGBT community from those who are just looking for an excuse to make themselves feel better by making other people feel worse...
He's so handsome.
You look great Jamie. Your winning smile says it all. Be happy and live your life your way, it's not a dress rehearsal so go for it. All the very best wishes. Ignore the haters they don't know you. Hugs from UK
Enormous amount of respect for him. The picture of him in the black check shirt is my favorite one but you can tell by the eyes that life is better now, love you Jaimie the world can be a harsh place but you rock 🤘🏽 💕 🤘🏽 😁
Do YOU honey! Whatever makes you happy! Screw what all the nay-sayers think. There is a lot of love in this world, too.
Your comment gives me hope
I have to agree he's an incredibly sexy looking man

Didn't know this was a gay forum
I didn't know this was a hateful b**** forum?
U are one sexy man
It is not about to look gorgeous it is about to stay sane
You were beautiful as a woman and look fantastic now. I'm sorry it took losing friends and family nut glad that you are comfortable and happy in your own skin now! You're Awesome!
What the hell? This makes me want to drink. No, I'm not upset that this gorgeous man is trans. I'm upset that he is equally gorgeous as a woman, and no matter which gender he is, makes me look like a pile of trash at the curb. Please send help. Now clinically depressed... (but good for you, honey!) *downs fifth of scotch*
Very handsome. Wish him the best of lucky!
Good looking person either way.
I wish people would just back off and let people be who they truly are! Jaimie looks super happy now. He's soo handsome too haha ;)
Omg! What a transformation!
Is Jamie still single? B-)
mamma mia, i wish i'd be that gorgeous (o.k. i'm vain...). great for him!
Beautiful! Before and after!!
Good on him - he has every right to be who he is! Also, I can't help but think how amaaaazing science is to make such a physical transformation possible!
Hey! First off, my advice to anyone scrolling through the comments, stop now, it's better you don't see what assholes all the transphobes are being! You'll regret looking! Instead, I'm writing a supportive monologue for you!!! Whether you're trans, gay, bi, pan, ace, polly (etc.), or an ally, I love and support you! You're fabulous, smart, kind, and spectacular. You are AMAZING. And no, this is not something I think, this is something I know! :) And to all the lgbtq+ phobics: You're assholes, but when you come to your senses, I will love and support you too.
you are fine af inside and out and thats all I have to say
Terrible he lost his family. Clearly, their loss...
Terrible he lost his family. Certainly their loss
I just don't get people - wake up realize that not everyone is going to be like you act like you or think like you - we are all individuals with our own ways of getting through our lives the best way we see fit for US NOT YOU - just because you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong - as for those who believe that living an alternative lifestyle is a sin, I ask this why would you believe in such a hateful vengeful entity? Can anyone prove that the 'bible' was written EXACTLY as 'God' intended and not rewritten/interpreted, who knows how many times, by ignorant men/women who think they know what is best for EVERYONE? I am not a religious person but isn't it also in that bible of yours something about judge not lest you be judged yourself? Or is that one of those passages you choose to ignore? As for his family being able to turn their love off and on like a switch I pity you for your ignorance. People will be whoever they are and you just need to accept it and move on
Is he gay or bi? and if so, can I have his number? :-) He is GORGEOUS!

Very proud of this courageous young man.
You go, dude! From one trans brother to another, you'll always have a family in us.
I don't often comment on articles. But I feel the need to tell you just how stunning you look both as a female and a male. You're happiness is far more important than anything else. Love xx
Really sad that he has lost his family. All he did was become himself......

Could only find one song from Spotify before the transition. Would love to hear his latest songs! Go Jamie! https://open.spotify.com/track/0zHh00Ng2lUQWzyBrbc9tR
you are who you were born to be you came out amazing... your family is not a family there's no love there they don't want to understand anything different they need to be educated on transgenderism .. this is nothing new.. they should be aware of this by now..
His so-called family and friends should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Who the hell do they think they are?! That's bad parenting. Best of luck with everything, Jamie x
He's gorgeous both ways! Jealous of the beautiful woman, totally crushing on the man!
It's your life and world...just live it...your way... period....🍷
Three cheers for being the person you really are! I admire your courage!
What an amazing journey! Stand tall, and don't look back. You rock! (In a Floridian country way, lol.)

So sorry your family didn't care enough.
"1.4 million transgender adults" needs to be clarified. 1.4 million identify as transgender, but they don't necessarily have surgery or medical intervention; they only identify as a gender they were not given at birth.
Do you have a point, or...?
This comment is hidden. Click here to view.
1.4 million, and the academic source of this statistic? Oh wait, they made it up. That's right.
"I don't believe it, so they must've made it up." Pathetic.
Beautiful woman but she had a male look to her. Handsome young man now. Good for you Jamie and I wish you the best
What a gorgeous man! Some of the photos are very Jonathan Rhys Meyers-esque ... which is a massive thumbs up from me! :)
Luck your so attractive as both male and female
damn. so pretty.
Are we gonna talk about how hot this guy is? *blush*

It's a woman. Are you gay
And you wonder why the LGBTQIA+ community suffers from so much depressions and suicide? It is people like you who make our lives living hell
You can just tell in the pictures that he feels more himself. Congrats on being brave enough to do you. I am so proud of you.
You are amazing!!!!
Wow, very hot either way!
Good grief he’s hot
So basically liberals (feminists) are upset because a Women transitioned to a Man. Are you fucking serious, we point out your hypocrisy everything time, with your hidden underlining racism (which is even more severe then the people you accuse of racism) or any form of bigotry. And now you're getting pissed off because some Trans-guy choose to transition from Male to Female. (And having a ago at someone for that, is the most hypocritical sexist shit ever) And people actuality wonder why so many of the sane people on the left are fleeing to the very edge of the Right, just to avoid being seen with these hypocritical idiots. You're either for all of it, or for known of it. - I feel happy for this guy, I honestly do. It's just a shame that a bunch of assholes that preach shit and claim they are the non fascist group and aren't sexist, go full sexist - proving everyone's points.
I don’t know what kind of feminism you’re talking about, but that’s some shitty feminism. Great, point, though!
*Female to Male. - Sorry, my spelling is usually off when I'm pissed.
Good for you, be happy in the skin you're in. You are probably loved by more folks than you know for the truth that is in you. Also, what a looker you are. God bless
Just be happy and be yourself. After all, you've only got yourself to answer to, right
He is a sexy, handsome guy. Good for you Jaimie!!
May you find the true happiness that you are looking for...I am sorry that your family and friends abandoned you, parental love should be absolutely unconditional...I hope your pain of your past experiences can be heale with your new found happiness and life...I wish for you a wonderful future filled with love laughter total personal acceptance of yourself as well as by others........good luck young man...in ALL your future endeavors.....
You look great either way. I am happy u have done what makes you happy. Sorry friends and family can't deal. Their loss as well as your's.
Jaime, it's a shame that you've lost people, and although it's their problem, you get hurt. I hope they can come to see what a beautiful soul you are. Enjoy life.
I am so glad you'did what you need do and despite of the consequences, which is so sad, you're living the life that you wanted and I hope you're truly satisfied and stay happy. God Bless and good luck to all your future endeavors.
Be what you want to be. After all its your skin
