Dying Dog Found Locked Up In A Crate All Covered In Feces Gets Completely Transformed By Love
Back in November, Animal Cruelty Division received a call about what seemed to be a dead dog lying in a filthy crate in Austin, Texas. When the officers arrived they found a pooch all covered in feces, severely emaciated and completely starved. Upon closer inspection, detective Ewa Wagner saw the doggie’s rib move…
“We realized [the dog] was alive, but just barely, so we rushed her to the Austin Animal Center where vets began emergency treatment,” Officer Wagner told The Huffington Post. “Her temperature was too low to even register on a thermometer and she wasn’t moving at all. We didn’t think there was any way she would survive.”
But an angel by the name of Elizabeth Mancera, the veterinary technician, rushed to help. For the next few hours she was giving the pooch lifesaving care. The vet also gave her a warm bath, and gently used a blow dryer to help raise the doggie’s body temperature. “During those first few hours I just talked to her and told her she was loved,” says Mancera. She decided to name the dog Sophie and realized she wanted to adopt this brave little survivor.
The dog has fully recovered and is adored by her new family. “She’ll never miss another meal and she’ll never be cold again,” asserts Elizabeth. “That I am sure of.”

When I read this kind of articles I can feel my face getting read and the tears invading my eyes. What I hope with all my heart is that every person that reads this story (and others similar to this one) get inspired not only to say "thank you for shaving, helping, caring, etc) but to get into action themselves. It can be saving a stray or treating well the one you have at home, volunteering, helping with money or simply teaching your kids to respect and value all living creatures.

i just dont get f*****g people ... i dont get it!!!! why the f**k treat animals like this! i wish just f*****g wish we could name and shame the owners and f*****g do the same to them..in a heartbeat id shuff the owners in a crate and watch them slowly die, like this poor dog did :'( :'(

throwing out a pet is just a horrible horrible thing to do. if you're going to throw a pet away don't keep it in a cage. give it a chance to actually try and survive in the wild. I hope they find out who did this and put that person in a cage in the middle of the woods until near death.
Or better still, take it to a vet or lost dogs home. Don't let it fend for itself in the wild!

There could be a rational explanation for why this happened, but I doubt it. I genuinely hope the owner (jailer) dies.
I mean seriously... i always see these terrible stories here. Who the hell can do such a thing with an animal that could give so much love to people????? I am so sad that these animals cannot fight back. And I hope whoever does such a thing the worst he could ever have in his life! Not dying but suffering!!!!
What happened to the owner's that put and kept her in the cage?!?! Something should happen to owners.
I think they should be locked in a cage no Food or water and left. Whoever did this is insane

but .... sometimes i don't understand how people who have a child and Let him perish psychologically and that child becomes an adult ( or teenager ) able to do things like that .. I could vomit on his parents, and force them to swallow my vomit
