Josh Hara, an ultimate coffee addict from Ohio, found a unique way how to upgrade his plain Starbucks cups. Always drawing on his spare time, he started to doodle funny comics using the cups as his canvas. His project, cleverly hashtagged #100CoffeeCups, has captured the interest of many Instagram users.
As of 2014, Americans throw away 25 billion styrofoam coffee cups every year and its not exactly helping the environment. By turning even a few cups into art Josh does communicate the need to upcycle or recycle more.
As he told Telegraph, “Taking something we see every day, something that often gets thrown into the trash, and transforming it into a piece of artwork is something that seems to have caused extra interest ” .
