I am a physics student who loves to draw space illustrations and I am also interested in psychology.
I suddenly come up with the idea of matching my drawings with psychological illnesses. I hope you will find them reasonable.

I have burnt out syndrome. for me it is I get stressed by the smallest thing, I am tired no matter what I do. if I took a 12 hour nap im still tired. I only feeling like staring at the wall and because of that I can lose motivation easily. I am doing much better because sometimes I take breaks from school and work.

You can also get burnout from having a chronic illness. Where you try so hard and just give up from the stress of it all.

I'm noticing that of all the illustrations depicting Earth, the most recognizable and recurring continent is America (North and South), always depicted north-upwards. I invite the artist, as an exercise in introspective psychology, to answer, "Why?"

I used to draw west continents often just because they are easier to draw from memory compared to east continents. When people realized this and started to search for meaning then I gave up. Now I prefer imaginary continents :)

This in an interestingly under diagnosed condition. There are many celebrities who definitely suffer from this condition and everyone knows at least one person with the signs. It must be really tough and lonely to have though I can imagine.

It frightens me to see how perfectly you were able to represent these mental illnesses. I am in love with your style of drawing, I aspire to that too one day. All I can say is, I wish you'd made a small description of what the mental illnesses consist of. I think it will raise more awareness. I hope I see more of your posts around!!

These are very true, and I always try to capture depression and anxiety in drawings, but these are very powerful. These are very true, and make me really think about the mental illnesses that people try to hide, like how I hide depression. But I think there's nothing to hide. Embrace your disorder, make the best out of it. Keep pushing, you got this :D

These are one of the best examples of these type of mental illness artworks I've seen. Really deep and thought provoking.

I can't say I can relate to all of them, but I can definitely relate to a few. This is a great way for us to imagine what it must be like for individuals with mental illnesses that are not personal to us. It makes me feel deeply for them. I've always said I can't imagine what it must feel like to have ".....," but now I can.

I'f you're curious, Cem, about a hypothesis that proposes that naturally occurring 'invert-gravity' is the cause of supernovas, get back to me. (Linked to the Burkhard Heim idea.))
