The last year has undoubtedly brought much turmoil and anxiety. Although uncertainty is running rampant, one thing has remained a constant; that being my love and devotion to the arts! The following collection of artwork has all been produced during the epidemic. The physical act of artmaking is a form of therapy from all of the distress of the world. The conceptual themes are making commentary based upon this distress. It is this duality that has provided me with comfort and solace during such difficult times.

My goal as an artist is to bring awareness to topics that may carry a negative stigma (mental health). I strive to empower my audience by portraying artwork that they can relate to. Reaching out for professional help should not carry a negative stigma. Each of the following artworks was created using either oil paint, charcoal, watercolor, or ink. Every artistic medium has its own unique and beautiful qualities. As an intuitive artist, the medium(s) I chose upon are often dictated by my mood. Certain ones can create effects that may be more appropriate to its conceptual intention.

I have dedicated my life to all of the perils and rewards of artmaking over the last seven years. It would be safe to say that art has helped me tremendously over the last year during the epidemic. Hopefully, displaying my artwork will instill a sense of serenity and comfort in those who share a common discomfort.
