Artist Preserves The Beauty Of Nature In Pressed Glass Jewelry
66Kviews
Love nature? Can’t get enough of it? Then good news, because Russian jewelry designer Stanislava Korobkova has created these beautiful vintage-style pendants that each contain its own little piece of mother nature.
The Dublin-based designer uses tiny plant leaves and beautiful flowers that she finds in the Irish wilderness. She inserts the dried and pressed flowers between delicate little windows of glass before sealing them with metal. It’s the same technique used to make Tiffany lamps, and as you can see from the pictures below, her handmade jewelry is nothing short of enchanting.
“I think nature already created amazing and beautiful things,” writes Stanislava on Etsy. “All I should do is make a proper glass jewelry frame for them and save this beauty for years.”
This unique jewelry is available to buy on Etsy.

Was the butterfly already dead?
I was wondering the same thing. Probably not! I would never order from this vendor as products are not cruelty free.
I've found dead dry butterflies many times. You just have to be attentive and try to notice nature around you.))
If you'd pay more attention, you would see many dead butterflies. Specially during the summer.
Do you know this for sure? Or just thinking out loud!
There was no dead butterflis in her jewelry. She used butterfly WINGS which can sonetimes be found lying about from mid to the end of summer. I've found them. So no, she wouldn't use live or dead butterflies - only wings she found.
I'd like to have one sooo badly!
You can order one if You want ;) fro here https://www.etsy.com/shop/WWHeart?ref=listing-shop2-all-items-count#items
