Directing
Still can’t believe Edward Berger didn’t get nominated for Conclave.
International Feature Film
So proud to see Flow here. I know Flow wont win, but being nominated is something huge and wonderful.
Writing (Original Screenplay)
Flow for best animated film. We watched all of them and that one really stays in your mind. It draws you along, experiencing the relatively primitive, but realistic emotions and experiences of the cat, and asks more questions than it answers. Really powerful film, a must see.
I lost hope in the Oscars and their selections years ago but may the best of the selected win in each category.
