Companies spend a lot of time and money trying to personalize their brand. The idea is to make it seem trusted and familiar like an old friend that can always be relied upon in times of need. Even though it's clearly an illusion, corporations want your money and your loyalty and little else. Some people do feel a strong personal connection to a certain brand that ensures that they will remain customers for life.
Canadian artist Sillvi featured on Bored Panda recently when he transformed some of the most popular brands of soda into anime characters that you can really get a feel for. Now he's back with more, expanding on his concept to encompass even more famous brands, from Ford to Mcdonalds. Scroll down below to check his drawing ideas out for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

"Have completely unhealthy food and nobody bats an eye, tell someone the ice cream machine is broken and everyone loses their mind!"
Wrong. It should be a 400lb clown with grease stains all over his costume
Naw. Because any good dealer knows never dip into your own supply or get hooked on the stuff you're selling.

So, I’ve decided to put my own twist on famous brand character drawings to make them even more unique.”
He ... kind of reminds me of Ford Prefect? From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Is it the eyes?
“Each of the anime drawings took me about two hours to complete and since I have 32 of them, I’ve spent about 64 hours on this project.”
And the artist put a lot of careful consideration into each of the illustrations, delving into the research when doing his soda characters. “While developing my characters, I mostly focused on two elements: the aesthetics of the logo itself and the taste of the soda. I also drank a few of them before drawing their characters.”
If there's two good things i can think of that came from Brooklyn, its AriZona Tea and Wu Tang.
I’m sorry did I u just say THAT ARIZONA TEA ISN’T FROM ARIZONA?! 😨

When it comes to the cool drawings, Sillvi has a few favorites, but for him, there’s one that he’s most happy with. “I like Barq’s Root Beer the most. I would definitely want to be friends with that guy.”
For those of you who don’t know, Barq’s is an American soft drink. It was created by Edward Barq and bottled since the turn of the 20th century. Owned by the Barq family but bottled by the Coca-Cola Company, it was known as Barq’s Famous Olde Tyme Root Beer until 2012.
Apparently, Pepsi has spent A LOT of time on her knees. Must be all the tasting required from the Pepsi challenge...
Filled her big bass mouth right to the brim with Pepsi and swallowed it in one gulp

Monster energy is a dude named Kyle. He has a blonde mullet, rides a busted 4 wheeler and always has on fingerless gloves and oaklys. His truck says salt life, because he's been to the beach once.
This maybe applies to the "bullie" (old VW busses), but the current brand image is vastly different. You could rather show managers cheating on exhaust protocols...
This if for the original VWs. Definitely not for the current crappy VW pieces of s**t!
I always loved the irony that the VW the brain child of that hateful Nazi dictator all round war monger murderer and peace hating despot Adolf Hitler became the vehicles of choice for peace loving war hating guitar strumming hippies everywhere in less that 25 years.
Interesting view. The "Hippie van" era is definitely a part of VW history, but currently I would say it's a boring brand that's been going down in quality.
Ah Volkswagen, the brand who sold Diesel cars with fake emission values....
He looks like what i think raphael santiago from the shadowhunters series would look like
Coke Zero is waaay to cool for the preferred beverage of middle aged voice teachers in the Midwest.
I was trying to pool a cosplay at Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA), but it didn't turn out well lmao. The only thing I was missing was the white tie.
No hate at all I can’t tell the difference besides what the bottle looks like 😐

Every woman with big boobs will know why hers are popping out of that botton shirt. Big boob problems... *sigh*

if someone handed me a barqs, just out of the blue, it'd probably be this guy
If someone who looks like this offers you a root beer out of the blue, do NOT consume that beverage.

I think he’s a pirate..he has a scar on his eye and a gold tooth! AND OMG THERES NO PIRATE EMOJI!? 😱
Not convinced by this one. Jaguar reminds me more of retired neurosurgeons with a moustache.
sorry but no, if we go by Jeremy Clarkson's guide, that's the exact opposite of how Jag owners look

elon musk laughs hysterically at potentially deceased deer in meme in pewdiepie youtube video... (such a random a*s & beautiful title.)
I can sort of see this one, Coke does have a sort of old fashioned fancy soda fountain feel, and the bottles are famously curvy, so it makes sense that she’s attractive.
Load More Replies...I thought it matched pretty good. Pepsi young wild free-Coke old fashioned prim and proper
I feel like Coca-Cola would be more All-American and cutesy than this.
I wanna share a Coke with the world... Seriously, Coke commercials are the absolute most ICONIC ones on earth.
The car brand Kia? Look it up, I'm sure you've seen them around. Well, I mean, obviously you've seen them around, but I'm sure you know them. Lol.

Its homage to the fact that the jeep started as a military vehicle in WW2
Load More Replies...He'd have a really tiny penis in his mid-life crisis, and probably a beer gut.
I like that they went with with the original feeling of jeep. A tough military vehicle.
This guy is Wranglers, pre-4 door. Only. Everything else made by jeep are mom vans with s**t transmissions
OMG any one who watches soul eater..... Didn't this remind u of Stien?
I feel like this guy would be either the good guy who trains the protagonist, or the head villain...
VTEC just Kicks in Yo !! , i mean she's really beautiful !!!
She'd be older and probably with a walking stick and shopping trolley.
No way. Non-caff, zero would be much more conservative. Probably a preppy secretary.

In manga or anime, it is usually just a small stylistic element that adds something extra to the character, to show they are tough or reliable, as Toyotas are.
Load More Replies...Because Toyotas take a lot of s**t but still be running like they won't ever die .#1990s Toyotas (lots of them) .Slap a band aide /duck tape and you're fine lol.
OMG SO MY MOM JUST GOT A TOYOTA TODAY AND IT HAS SOME CRATCHES AND THIS IS A PERFECT REPRESENTATION
Having a Hyundai car, I relate to this, even down to the hypermobile knee and joints! Should've been carrying an Olympic recurve bow though.
Are you implying that container ships and construction equipment are masculine? I mean, they're just objects... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Load More Replies...The Sprite one isn't a bad interpretation. They are the only 2 "black" people on this list. Why are you making something out of something that isn't there?
Load More Replies...Brands and their mascots often become more relatable when given a unique twist, like reimagining them as characters in anime art. This concept was beautifully explored by an artist who transformed fast food mascots into engaging visual characters. Similarly, Sillvi has expanded this creative process by converting popular soda brands into anime icons.
For a fascinating take on how these characters are creatively altered, you might find inspiration in the exploration of anime-style renditions of fast food mascots.
Seems less like "what if this brand was a character" and more like "character designs incorporating brand logo color schemes". Most of these are WAY off from the company and advertising cultures of their respective brands; only a couple are on-brand.
I dont get how this has anything to do with brands? Also, really over using the whole smoking to look badass concept...
Although these are very imaginative, they are also basic and largely uninspired...somewhat disappointing in fact because the idea to give visual representation to well known brands in the form of caricature is rather brilliant, but the execution certainly left much to be desired.
why is every fast food person looking like serial killers and why are they all bleeding?
I'd love to see one where prominent cities are drawn as people... maybe not even anime, just people.
I wish I could like any of these. Putting faces to corporations is not particularly appealing. None of these corp have exhibited anything close to kindness, empathy, and environmental awareness. Sorry...profit at all cost is not appealing or humanizing.
