If Popular Brands Were Anime Characters (30 Pics)
Companies spend a lot of time and money trying to personalize their brand. The idea is to make it seem trusted and familiar like an old friend that can always be relied upon in times of need. Even though it's clearly an illusion, corporations want your money and your loyalty and little else. Some people do feel a strong personal connection to a certain brand that ensures that they will remain customers for life.
Canadian artist Sillvi featured on Bored Panda recently when he transformed some of the most popular brands of soda into anime characters that you can really get a feel for. Now he's back with more, expanding on his concept to encompass even more famous brands, from Ford to Mcdonalds. Scroll down below to check his drawing ideas out for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

He ... kind of reminds me of Ford Prefect? From Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Is it the eyes?

I am not sure how worthy Jeep are of this rugged depiction of the brand. In the UK, they mostly used for the school run. I don't know so much about America, but I am currently reading a novel where a Grand Cherokee SLI is the car of choice of the boss of a Drug cartel.

Seems less like "what if this brand was a character" and more like "character designs incorporating brand logo color schemes". Most of these are WAY off from the company and advertising cultures of their respective brands; only a couple are on-brand.

Fast food series are called "if fast food mascots were super villains". The artist has different names for his series, and they are certainly not brand's image re-imagined as characters.
