Actually read the whole article a while back. Headline is very much clickbait. It might be controversial, but she explains it rather well. She doesn't enjoy certain games, and does other important stuff with her kids, while encouraging them to play on their own or with each other. Look up the original article if you want, I'm not saying I agree with her, but she makes some sense and I definitely don't think she's a bad mom because of this.

I don't like the term 'Body positivity', I'd prefer it to be called 'Body acceptance'. I think it's better to just accept that all bodies are different and if we accept our own for what they are it's a healthier state of mind. Body positivity blinds people from health risks by telling them that it a good thing to be the way they are. Yet, if we accept our bodies and the impact that has on our health it's up to us alone to decide if we want to face those risks and/or do something about it.

Please don't fetishize autism or any other disability. In fact please stop with all the autism objectification in general. We are not a prop for your vaccine discussion which is both untrue aaaand insulting to be used as a worst case scenario for preventing a disease with death as an option. Stop making tv shows about how we are so smart but have no ability to be emotional or worse just need to be taught how by someone we want to sleep with. Autism is a complex disability that can present in a lot of ways and painting it with a broad brush is why it's so hard to get diagnosed.

I'm gonna go way, way, waaaay out on a limb here. Is it possible that the creator of this post means to say that it would be good if people found people on the spectrum to be sexy? Consider this: people with Asperger's syndrome people very often are considered creepy when they ALREADY have significant difficulties with socialization. (WHO THE F*** NAMED IT A*S-BURGER'S SYNDROME??? That was just cruel!) Imagine navigating a dating scene were certain behaviors are tolerated and rewarded if the other person finds them sexy, but hated if the other person doesn't. Now picture being legitimately inherently unable to tell the difference. What if there were some group of people who decided, "you know what? Those are good people, potentially great lovers, and they're not all taken?"
