As a 365 day Instagram project, I started using pencil shavings as a medium to create unique artworks often reflecting pop culture and other interesting subjects.
I’m inspired by so much – from the students I teach to other Instagram artists. These works are all created from hand sharpened pencils and layered on card or paper. Some take 10 minutes to do, others take hours and hours!

The titles, "Vintage tape," and "Vintage disk" make me feel old, and I'm only 26. Neat concept!

It's cool and all, but all I can think of is "so much wasted graphite; hundreds of drawings could've been done instead".
