Yep, we do that to the ear where I live too. I used to volunteer at my local shelter, and I wound up taking the guy above home. They can't explain the missing tail. He was even x-rayed, and it looked like he was just born without it. There is a domestic cat breed (called a manx) that are tailless. A lot of us assumed cruelty at first...

There's a woman who fosters kittens in Alabama who recently had a litter of kittens with only teeny stubs of tails. They were perfectly healthy and have all been adopted now, but we don't know whether they're Manx breed or not. For a moment I thought this cutie was one of hers because she did have a tailless orange boy amongst her giant crew (two litters plus other strays = 15 kittens she raised at one time!).

Is his eye ok? I dont want to worry you, but our cat (the one eyed in the pictures) had simular eyes before it got bad. Check if he has a headache: put a little pressure above his eye and stroke towards ear, If he flinches. get him checked out by a vet, also if the eyes reflect light differently.

awww. this looks like a smaller version of my cat... when we got my cat she was found on the road with her family and the person who found them suspected they were thrown out a window, unfortunately, the mother was ran over... and a week after I adopted my cat and I still love her so much <33. this is my 3rd year with her

It breaks my heart that people could do that!! She is our 2nd freeway cat - she had broken hips, tar all over her and damaged paws....at first we thought she might not be able to walk but she sure proved us wrong! She runs all over with her two brothers - she’s tiny compared to those two beasts but she runs the show! It makes me happy to see all of them laying around enjoying the life of luxury 🙂 I’m happy your baby has the same good life!
