The relatively new artform of Needle Felting is a highly addictive and empowering pastime that strips away anxiety and depression with every stab. The brain simply cannot stress when it’s being creative. Needle Felting allows the brain to have some time out from the worries and stresses of life while creating wonderful sculptures out of wool.

Reena Lee Harwood has been a full-time Needle Felt Artist since 2015. Her artwork is incredible and her unique illusionary realism techniques are highly sought after worldwide. Reena’s love of all creatures is very evident in her relentless attention to detail and she is particularly passionate about raising worldwide awareness of “the list” of endangered or extinct Aussie wildlife that is way too long.
Reena is a natural-born teacher and believes in showing others “how” to learn rather than “what” to learn and she wants everybody to join the worldwide trend that has far-reaching positive effects on mental health and well-being. She coins it “Acupuncture for the Soul” and promises “Freedom through Creation”.
In her Australian ‘School of Stabbing’, she developed a course that takes the complete novice from the first steps of understanding how the fiber responds to this magical needle through a step by step video course which encourages the inner artist to flourish, with highly detailed advance sculptures.
