Working as a photographer isn’t always about attending glamorous parties, meeting interesting people, going on endless adventures, and eating posh caviar for every meal. [Gasp] I know what you’re probably thinking: how can this be when photographers seem to be living the life us puny mortals can merely dream about?! Well, I have one word for you: models.
Some of the models that photographers have to deal with on a daily basis are liable to drive any person nuts if they don’t meditate, do yoga, hit the gym, or do something to relax. Photographic artist Pixel Crush was inspired to pick up his digital pen and illustrate the ‘typical’ models that he has seen over the last decade.

Mike R., who goes by the nom de plume Pixel Crush, works out of the city of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. He draws illustrations that are more than just about beauty: some of them are meant to provoke you into thinking about life and people from a different, novel perspective.
“As a graphic artist/photographer with an off-beat sense of humor, I set out to illustrate the types of models I've seen so many times on photo shoots,” Pixel Crush told Clinton Lofthouse of Fstoppers. “The ‘characters’ don’t represent any specific model I've met; each is more of an amalgamation of numerous models that I've worked with that seem to fit specific patterns. Of course, it goes without saying that this is ‘not all models,’ nor is it supposed to be a negative jab at anyone.”
I mean... If they already talked about it it's not being a drama queen, it's about that she's working and the "kyle" dude doesn't respect that or refuses to do what they agreed on.
The artist continued: “I just wanted to make a fun depiction of some common behaviors and model types I've seen over the last 10 years, shooting well over a hundred or so models. And, seeing that this series has been shared thousands of times over the last day or so, it seems many others in the industry share my observations as well.”
Pixel Crush also revealed that the ‘Typical Model’ series and the ‘Typical Male Photographers’ series are both counterparts to each other.
Sweet, baby Jesus BoredPanda. As previously mentioned, please stop posting this “stereotype” c**p. This is something I would expect of a listicle site that shall remain nameless. What is happening to the quality of some of your articles these past several months? This site used to be focused predominantly on showcasing the work of new artists from different genres. Hey, instead of focusing on sexist stereotypes that are just plain old boring, why can’t you feature more ‘gasp’ actual work by professional and amateur photographs. I know a lot of us would love to see some amazing examples of travel, food, architecture, etc. photography without it having to be negatively linked to Influencers. There are some amazing photographers in the “Photography” section of this site that should be featured, but their self-published posts seem to get buried under bad articles like this.
Seriously, they're all awful - I don't what's happening to the BoredPanda staff lately...
