If you think that France has just banned models that are too thin which this lady obviously is, the clothes are not going to fit normal people who tend to be larger than the model, and I agree she is being used as a shock tactic to attract attention. What is wrong with admitting to yourself that you are just not built to be a model, or play a certain sport, or do a certain activity it seems that everything is about having to accept people taking part in activities that they really are not good at, not able to do properly or making more abled bodied people drag them or push them throughout these activities. I can accept there are things I can't do why then can't anybody else!

Exactly my thought. It says more about the so-called fashion indisry than the individuals that are being used.......fashion itself is a freak show....

Yea, she's skinny but not anorexic. Pretty normal where I'm from... Plus, models are skinny (anorexic isn't attractive) because the clothes look better on these models (sorry, but be real), they don't need to use a lot of fabric to make them and considering how many people are obese, motivating them to slim down isn't a bad thing. And the ones with medical conditions preventing it, well you have a genuine reason, but the rest don't, MOST don't. So don't stuff your face and sulk how the world is unfair (on such unimportant things like fashion model choices) and get off your a*s. "Praising" being fat is like praising being lazy or lack of willpower... There's no way to please everyone anyway, because normal people are going to be looking at the clothes (sorry fat hanging out would be a ...distraction), obsessed people with issues are going to be looking at the models.

That's fine. I am unsure whether it matters. See, she wanted to be a model. She is doing that and so whether there are an abundant of people here who think her beautiful, being exploited or not the bottom line is that come Monday, she will either have another modeling gig which will take her to places many here will never even dream and she will be making money that none here will ever see in a lifetime. Ultimately, she wanted to do something in a tough industry and she as achieved it, no matter what others think of her. I'd say she is light years away from those who will wake up Monday and schlep their way to a job they are waiting for a long weekend, vacation or retirement. Light years ahead, good for her.

I agree. They are all disturbing, and not because of her looks.

From my experience, it's the opposite. People are being nice because they know it's a "disease". If you said nothing, they'd go on about how "ugly" she is. But because there's a disease behind her "ugliness", it "counts as a disability" an it's the supposed to be praised and celebrated for the sake of inclusion for people to feel good about how nice they are. A dislexic person should be treated kindly and with patience, someone without a diagnose that has the same difficulty is just "dumb". Someone with a condition or disease deserves encouragement, an ugly person is just ugly and ridiculous. That's how I see people acting everywhere.

So, let's see! Where do you think these people are coming out of the woodwork from? Maybe, they are eating healthy food? Perhaps their parents were eating Kale, fresh fish, gluten-free food. Hopefully, you will never have to get it, deal with it or have a child who has any disorder for which someone describes you as someone who is getting attention. Someone who finds it puzzling. someone who is obviously very different looking, but they don't get it. Wonder what all those bugged eyed, buck-toothed, stringy haired, gapped toothed, glasses wearing, thin as a rail, bow-legged girls on the playground are thinking and perhaps they should simply end it all so they don't confuse anyone when they grow up and end up still be afflicted as previously described.
