Many people think of millennials as spoiled kids who were born into privilege and have every opportunity handed to them on a plate, but as you can see from these perceptive and thought-provoking comics by Karina Farek for CollegeHumor, that's simply not the case. The truth is that many millennials face just as many problems as the rest of us, from struggling to find employment in an increasingly competitive job market to trying to earn enough money to pay the rent each month. Do these comics resonate with you? Then let us know in the comments below!

Yeah. My mom has a lot of friends who are younger than her and one is this woman is her late twenties and she is trying to get a masters but she has to teach to pay for it and her job just covers her tuition so she doesn't have much left and she doesn't have health insurance. A few months ago we went to her birthday party and my mom and a bunch of her friends had all chipped in to raise money so she could get some and she started crying and it was so sweet. And sad. <3

That moment you're canadian and you remember you neighbors still don't have basic health care... I'm so sorry for those in need, health is a right not a privilege

Health is right, guaranteed by the State and funded by taxes, not a privilege in Europe as well. In the US heath is a business.

You don't deserve anything but freedom. You work for everything else - true story.

Sounds about right. I'm 25, have a decent job, but may have to move back in with the parents in order to free up rent money for insurance. Ahh, growing up.

To be honest, I think both of these have truths to them

odd, there is this thing called Medicaid, and many people who're millenials can get it. Plus, the only reason this stereotype exists is due to how often these people are portrayed on CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc.

how can she afford insurance when she's got to by the whole lulu lemon and Nike yoga apparel line?

One third of my income goes for taxes, health and retirement insurances. But I am insured and healthcare is not an issue at all. And if you want to go to a specific doctor, you visit his private clinic and pay something like 20 euros for a visit. Totally affordable.

Even sadder to think that some see all liberals and Democrats this way.

It's getting like that in the UK as well, if you phone my Surgery for an appointment they offer you one in two or three months time, screw your own lid on your coffin.

Literally means there is a figurative as well as a literal meaning. For example, "The sun is literally the light my life."

I feel sorry for people in countries that don't have universal healthcare. It should be a human right. Dammit, it IS a human right!

Tracey Martens

Who's going to pay for it? You are only owed freedom in this life - you work for everything else.

You realize this is a liberal millennial platform, right? Looking for approval from your peers isn't getting you anywhere.

Why KP? Why exactly? Can you provide me with a logical explanation of why you say this? I am not a millennial. I am a 49 year old woman and I just want to know what your reasons are for saying this. I can't relate to someone like John Graham who does the Rainman thing of writing the same thing over and over like "ten minutes to Wapner". Talk about getting you nowhere. Thanks in advance if you feel like answering. :-)

To my mind the left side is looking for special treatment; the right is just looking to be treated like a human and not persecuted
