My name is James Zwadlo and this is a series of surreal Infrared photo-manipulations.
This project started through a conversation I had with Gmunk about exploring the world of Infrared photography. After getting my old camera modded and to grips with the complex work-flow I decided to see how far I could push the colors past the traditional 2-tone Infrared photographs so as to make mine have their own look and feel unique.
I have subsequently been able to combine them with my love of traveling and produced the second volume from my recent trip to the Bahamas.
This year I intend to work more with these techniques and see if I can push this into video and also capture more countries in these surreal palettes.

These are not infra-red images. the man would be the hottest thing in the picture, and the water probably the coldest. In infra-red one would not see reflections at all. So what actually *is* you technique? some sort of colour manipulation?
